Favorite use of raspberry note.

Hey guys:

I've been wearing this Bath and Body Works hand cream called Black Raspberry Vanilla. I find the scent to quite nice myself. However, I believe I have only tried a couple of scents with a raspberry note mentioned. I was wondering what people's favorite raspberry note fragrances are? I will vote Lacoste Elegence by a landslide margin over Diesel Fuel for Life.

I like it when raspberry is perceptible but doesn't overpower the fragrance.

Van Cleef First and Yohji Yamamoto for Women get my votes.

Tom Ford in Tuscan Leather. Subtle and yummy.

Oh yeah. I forgot this one. It didn't show up under the note search, since basenotes didn't do a note pyramid on this one. Of course, I'm not sure I'd tell anyone that loved raspberrys to check this one out, even if they do enjoy leather. I probably wouldn't know if was there unless someone told me anyway.
I still say Lacoste Elegance is the king of raspbery and certainly in the royal court of gourmands as well.

Rose (Series 2: Red) by Comme des Garcons - smells like rose water infused raspberry sorbet.

Aside from those already mentioned, Animale Animale has a raspberry note to my nose, though not listed in the notes.

Back to Black By Kilian , Portrait of a Lady Frederic Malle Editions and Une Rose Vermeille From Andy Tauer .... all have nice berry elements , give em a try

Delicious Closet Queen has berry, of all things.

J. Del Pozo On El. It's buried in there with 100 other notes, but still present.

Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. I have mixed feelings about the raspberry in there, but it's grown on me.

Mark Birley's Charles Street. Kind of a dusty raspberry.

Really, Tuscan Leather? I don't detect any raspberry in that fragrance....

Black XS by Paco Rabanne has a Raspberry/Strawberry feel.

+1 Superbly done raspberry and leather. Very refined, subtle yet beautiful.

If Rochas Man has a raspberry note (which only I may perceive, strictly subjectively IMHO), then this one is definitely a raspberry note put to good use

By Kilian's Back to Black, nice stuff.

Agree with Back to Black.

Forever by Patou has a juicy and vivid raspberry top note. I love it, but if you can't handle a fruity chypre/gourmand this is not the scent for you

Clive Christian C + Lagerfeld Kapsule Woody get my votes

The raspberry note in Clean Man gives it a bit of a bubblegum feel mixed with the soap. I love it .

I just tried ELd'O's Delicious Closet Queen (along with Tom of Finland), and I rather like the rosy raspberry dry-down but I found the opening a little unappealing. I didn't quite get the structure of (the opening bridged to the drydown by vetiver) from one testing. Anyway, I also tried Tom of Finland, and found the leather note rather nice.

Is Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather's raspberry note similar to Delicious Closet Queen and how do BNers feel about the combination of the raspberry note with the leather?

+ 1 to all.

Well, since no one mentioned it, i'd recommend you Givenchy Hot Couture. It smells like raspberry candy + spices + tobacco. One of the best fragrances produced by Givenchy

While I am not particularly fond of Tuscan Leather, it is one of the few fragrances that I know of that does a raspberrry (or any berry) note well in my opinion.

24 Gold. But it's pretty much the only raspberry that I've smelled/noticed apart from the one in Fuel for Life.
