Good morning,
My Enslaved Extrait is still going strong, so I applied a big splash of vintage Habanita on my chest (where I do not apply extrait)... nice combination, but otherwise there is something boring and one-dimensional about my vintage Habanita.
Enjoy your day!

Well I'm actually just off to bed but good morning to the rest of you. Currently wearing Dune I never even smelled it in it's hay day (hey day???) but I am enjoying it.

Continuing with Cristalle EDP .
Have a good day everyone. My new Mitsy EDP has given me rash on my neck and chest. First time for everything - damn it!

Hello everyone. I'm wearing Extravagance D'Amarige today

Serge Lutens Datura Noir. So lush and creamy. I love it in sultry temps but it's hitting the spot on this chill, dreary day.

Take care, everyone.

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm trying Montale's Sweet Oriental Dream again from a decant. Notes are Moroccan Rose,
Loukhoum (honey, rose water, sugar, fruit, jam and nuts), almonds and vanilla. The name is a little
deceptive as it's not your usual "oriental". It's a very sweet scent, very much like
Keiko Mecheri's Loukhoum's, but I like KM's Eau Poudree the best so far.

Having a lazy Sunday morning, but will need to get going with some chores soon to prepare myself for the shock of going to work tomorrow
SL Chergui is hitting the spot today.

Doing my best to lean into the Orientals, I'm wearing DK Black Cashmere. I used to own a bottle of this, and then it lost its appeal. Still, it's pleasant to pull it out for a revisit. JM Black Amber & Ginger Lily or Pomegranate Noir scratch the same itch a bit more satisfactorily for me.

Gasp! Mimi! Rash? Never had that problem with the old formulation, now did ya? So what were regulators really protecting us from?

Ditto the chores... and the work-day-tomorrow shock! I'm in Tom Ford Amber Absolute from a sample our dear Aromi sent in a swap. I think I love it. (which is probably not a good thing... sighs)

Inees... sorry you had an upset with a friend... not a good way to start the year, no doubt... but yes, things can only get better!

Late to the SnS, but yesterday I wore Shalimar. Today I have samples of Guerlain's Dandy and Voyou. I have not decided on a proper SOTD yet.

Happy New Year!

Tdem; you've made me crave Datura Noir now... might have to wear it soon!

I've been in Vol de Nuit since Christmas Eve, apart from the last two days (which have been a bit migraine-y), and scent-free. Well, this morning I was chirpy again and went light with Eau Dynamisante.

Started out the day in Nanette Lepore (a christmas present from a lovely friend) I quite like it, it's very soft but powdery and floral. There's not much silage to speak of (which is a shame) but it meant that even in 30+ degree heat I could wear it without being overwhelmed, so that's a plus!

In the afternoon I was testing out a minature of Armani Acqua di Gioia. It's a bit meh, kind of pretty for a resort holiday but very waterey and pale. Not really my kind of perfume at all.

Wow, tdem ISN'T wearing Nuit de Tuberose today!

I'm testing two new (to me) roses today. On the right is Lady Vengeance, which I put off trying because I don't like the name. Well, turns out I like everything else about it! I need to try it next to C&S Dark Rose and decide which suits me best. The other is AG Rose Splendide, which is a lovely fresh rose. It's got an edge of something tart that I think could be great for warmer weather.

Wishing all a great week!

At first I read that as flew to Japan today and arrived yesterday...I'm a little tired. I suppose that's possible, though (?). Hope you are having a good trip, Furriner!

Wearing Worth Je Reviens tonight, an impulse reach-for. But smelling it now, I get the intuitive connection I made to my earlier SotD, DK Cashmere Mist. Both are aldehydic, woodsy, floral. I miss Je Reviens. I wore it 8 times in 2010. I'm going to try to remember to wear it more often because I like it. It's nice for cozying around at home. A keeper.
