I love Mediterranean herbs. I am about to look for samples of fragrances that display great, aromatic Mediterranean herbs.

What are your favorites?

Aramis Tuscany - that was the first to come to mind. Excellent rendition of Mediterranean herbs and won't break the bank.

+ Loewe PH
I would add Esencia Loewe (1988) and Agua Brava (1968) by Antonio Puig.

Blue Saloon by J.A.

Taking it to extremes: Romeo Gigli's Sud Est. It doesn't get more herbal/spicy than this.

you HAVE to try all the Acqua di Parma fragrances in their "Blu Mediterraneo" line. they have terrible longevity but they are extremely high quality mediterranean herbal/floral/citrus frags. think it might be just what you're looking for.

Yes, this line sounds very intriguing to me. In fact, I started a thread on them several months ago. I will definitely have to sample them. I will have to see if they have sufficient longevity.

Maybe what you are looking for is found in Tuscan Soul by Ferragamo. A very citric scent that develops into a more herbal heart. And it broadcasts "mediterranean" to all corners.

Another vote for Tuscany Uomo, plus, in a variety of other styles, Virgilio, Baïme (though I don't find it all that wearable), Eau du Sud, Aria di Capri, New West for Him, and Fraîche Badiane.

That style is one of my go-to favorites, if done well (in a dry style). Here are some I like:
Acqua Classica Borsari
Acqua da Toletta
Basile Uomo
Eau D'Hadrien
Eau D'Italie
Essenzia di Zegna
Grain de Plaisir
Iskander
L'Eau Guerriere
Magnifico I: Mirto Imperiale
Sud Est
Victrix
Virgilio
