Globe by Rochas: is it worthy?

Ok i'm not too keen on buying discontinued fragances. I don't want to buy something, then love that something and not being able to find it anymore.

Problem is i've tried Globe, i love most of JC Ellena's works, and i've find a little shop with a nice stock of Globe at a nice price.

Do you think it is worth the purchase?

Do you know about some alternatives to Globe?

I love its smell. My concerns are about getting it knowing it's been discontinued.
Should i invest in it or should i go and buy anything else?

The fact that Globe is discontinued, yet still occasionally available at reasonable prices strikes me as all the more reason to purchase it - if you enjoy it. I keep two bottles myself - more than I'm liable to go through in a lifetime.

Ok, i'd probably get one tomorrow... one thing i don't like about it is the fact that it is the Splash not the spray... maybe they have the spray version too.

This thread got me interested in Rochas Globe as well. I did a quick search on eBay and did not realize how much of this is out there: 65 EDT offerings from 15 ml to 100 mls!

With the great endorsements, I will have to try soon.

I got my bottle... the woman at the shop wanted to make an special offer if i tool all the 3 bottles that she had there. I didn't want to spend 120 euros on 300ml (10 Oz.) of Globe, but i'll check if someone is interested on the 2 remaining bottles of the Silver Limited edition I left there.

yes, the mini size is exceptionally large, 15ml, and can be bought for just a few dollars.

I have a pretty large collection, so even a small bottle of fragrance doesn't stand a huge chance of being finished, with the exception of some of my Eaux. So for me, I'm sure my bottle of Globe will last a lifetime. However, if you like it that much, you may want to buy several bottles while it is still available at a decent price.
