What do you feel are some classy fragrances for younger guys?

I really love Burberry London and the feeling it gives me.
Van Cleef & Arpel's Pour Homme too, but I find that alot less wearable. Very enjoyable nonetheless though.

Some fragrances which I plan to check out next, and to my understanding are in this vibe, are Chanel's Platinum Egoiste and YSL's L'Homme.

+1

Chanel Pour Monsieur as well. It has a lemon creme pie vibe that's very pleasant.

If you're looking for mainstream ones, check out a Sephora if you have one available (or their web site). You'll instantly see the ones that are popular. Some examples are:
Terre d'Hermes
Armani Code and Acqua Di Gio
Versace Eau Fraiche
JPG Le Male
YSL L'Homme and La Nuit de L'Homme
Burberry Sport and Brit

+ 1 for Chanel pour Monsieur. It was the first thing I thought of on reading your post. Classy, AND would be great on a young guy, I think. Also a less predictable choice than say, something like Le Male or ADG

I truly second Terre d'Hermes and YSL L'Homme

Also, Mugler Cologne and YSL Rive Gauche PH are at least worth testing

+1 on Chanel Pour Monsieur.

Also try Dune Pour Homme by Christian Dior. Excellent "classy" fragrance for a younger person.

While we're talking about Chanel, Égoïste (not Platinum) is classy and comforting - and there's no age barrier for it.

Armani code isn't a bad one. Not very complex but a good classy scent.

I really have to try Dune PH - can't believe that I've NEVER tried it. I'm betting I'd really love it.

And agreed on both those Chanels. They've both got a very classy vibe. Depends on your definition of classy - I think they have a very classic feel. Ditzy chicks who say "old man cologne" at anything but mall fragrances are gonna run, but classy women on campus will appreciate, and that sounds like what you're looking for.

Also Terre d'Hermès - can't emphasize that one enough. It's something of a breakthrough fragrance that's classy but new enough to be perfect on a young person. Sort of like an "instant classic". Not that commonly worn, but deserves to be.

My insta-response to this question was Terre d'Hermès.

So that's a +4 by now?

All other suggestions are great of course but for my tastes TdH is the real winner for any occassion. It transcends all - age, gender, location (lol) season, mood, yadda yadda. I think every perfume-lover should have some. It is truly lovely and super classy. I enjoy wearing it myself on hot days.

Good Luck!

I got a whiff of rotten oranges sometimes from TdH. Try before you buy!

La Nuit de L'homme is an excellent one. I enjoy it more than expected (it was a blind purchase). Its semi-formal to formal though imo.
