I have finally discovered that fragrance really has no gender.

An extraordinarily generous basenoter(thank you so so much! you know who you are) sent me a bunch of samples that arrived at my house today. I immediately got excited and tried one that looked interesting.

Ambre by Esteban.

I put it on and was immediately amazed. I loved it. It worked so well on my skin, it smelled amazing, i was so intrigued by this fragrance. I went to fragrantica to read some reviews on it, and thats when I read that it was for women. It was the first time in my life that I have worn a fragrance that was targeted towards women, and it is awesome.

Fragrance does not have pee pee's

This is a fantastic discovery when this happens.....There are no Girly (pee pee's) either.....Had to throw in a bit of humor!!!

I sound like such a Lutens salesman these days, but Chergui is supposedly for women and I can't get enough of it!

I love the note of rose, which is very much a "feminine" note, I think it adds such depth or beauty to anything, it can be dirty, sweet, green, floral...just look at Hanae Mori HM, MKK, Chergui, Rose Ikebana, Arabian Wood, 1 Million...they're all such diverse fragrances and have totally different takes on rose. Do I care that it's feminine? Heeeeeckkkkk no. I love rose and damn proud of it! (BTW if you haven't checked out Hanae Mori yet, get on that Johnny!)

How comfortable you are with your sexuality defines the masculinity/femininity of a perfume.
For example, as much as I like Bois d'Armenie by Guerlain, I am convinced it is better suited on my wife than me. Other men may feel different which is OK and definitely a plus for them.

Congrats jonny19 for expanding your scent horizons beyond marketing! I've also tested Ambre by Esteban and found it smooth and very unisex.

lool, but wouldn't it be more profitable if all perfumes were unisex. This way you just increased your potentials forecast by the number of expected purchases by the alternative gender. Hence increasing sales.

I discovered it when i tried Black Orchid. Try this jhonna, will be your top2 or 3 (its mine 2)

I made a thread asking about wear female fragrances, i thought its strange and all..

Now i own:

Black Orchid (3x bottles, lol, my love isnt enough for this)
Voile de Fleur
Opium
Kiss Her

And i going to buy the Poison line (maybe hypnotic and then midnight)
