What I plan on purchasing so far for February. If validation on a fragrance is not possible, reason as to why.

Montale Red Vetiver
Atelier Bois Blonds
Nez a Nez Figues et Garcons
Carthusia Uomo
Frapin Terre de Sarment

On the bubble:
Il Provo G11
Boadicea The Victorious Exotic
LArtisan Traversee du Bosphore

Better versions of anything above?

Good morning Puddle. First, Traversee is a great scent, the turkish delight vibe may get you compliments. Its warm and complex. Good choice (IMO). The other one is the Nez a Nez-I love Atelier d'Artiste. Its a boozy tobacco frag you might enjoy. Anyway, happy sniffing.

Hello friendly Canadian! I've only tried Traversee twice is why it's on the bubble. Very pleasant both times I wore it, I worry about it being too light and fading fast. Could be my nose getting fried on it too though.

I had high hopes for Atelier d'Artiste after trying their Figues et Garcons. For some reason I get a more mature A*Men feel from this. Being pro-breathing I cannot stand A*Men and other drain clogging colognes. I went ahead and tried Bal Musque but all I got from that is Dr. Pepper, so now this house has me all confused.

I will have to add Boadicea The Victorious Invigorating to the bubble list, have had it on for the last couple hours and it's pretty nice! Not thrilled with the $175 for 50ml though, I feel like for that much it should give me hand jobs before bed or something.

Oh Puddle, tsk tsk, at those prices it should be a "trouser kiss" as they say on Family Guy. I wanted to know what your thoughts generally about Boadicea frags. Ive done a lot of sampling but haven't gotten there yet. Your thoughts.....

I'd love to validate, or even not, but frankly I can't say anything because I've never heard of most of those! ;-)

Tried this again tonight, do you get a cardboard note in it? Not sure how else to describe it.

Hi Puddle. Yes, I get the same impression. For me, its a brief whiff at the opening. That mellows into the Turkish Delight aspect.

Ok good, I too get it in the opening. Not getting much from it now, but I'm pretty sure my senses are fried from my ex-girlfriend burning a pumpkin spice candle earlier.
