I haven't bought a cologne since I was single, so it's about time. I want to try to find something for everyday that is woodsy, spicy, earthy like you just came in from chopping wood surrounded by black pepper plants. Any suggestions out there?

YSL Rive Gauche - So friggin good and affordable. If Creed sold it instead of YSL it would be $300 instead of $30

15% Off Coupon on front page of their website as well

I just wanted to say, "Welcome to basenotes".

As far as finding a scent to fit your description, the guys have been spot on. My personal preference of their suggestions is the YSL, Rive Gauche. It's a lot of fragrance for the price. Plus, it fits your description to a "T".

Don't blind buy any of these fragrances. Sample them first.
