@volley2 & @sean-dt

even though that i haven't have a chance to smell grey flannel yet and thinking of blind buying it,
but isn't Luca Turin gave it 5 star masterpiece for that fragrance?

what it is that make this fragrance so unlikeable?

As I am in two minds regarding buying Opus 1870, I would like to ask you to share your thoughts on Opus 1870. Why do you use it so seldom?
Not counting samples...

Best: Chergui /Fleurs d'Oranger/L'ombre dans l'eau/ And keeping pure malt and m7

worst: perry ellis white, azzaro chrome, euphoria (no longer in my collection)... armani code? don't know.

Top:
- Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree
- Azzaro Pour Homme
- Caron Pour un Homme

Bottom:
- Guerlain Habit Rouge
- Caron Yatagan
- Dior Fahrenheit

I love my bottom three, but I don't wear them very often. I keep saving Habit Rouge for special occasions (whatever those might be). I appreciate and enjoy Yatagan and Fahrenheit but I'm not sure if the people in my life do, so I often end up going for something safer. Most days I have to restrain myself from just choosing Chanel Pour Monsieur - it's the absolute best fragrance that I've come across so far, plus it's totally and utterly inoffensive.
I'm just going to do bottom 3 masculines

- Escada PH - was a cheap blind buy, smells dated to me
- Brooks Brothers 1818 - bought it based on spray to the wrist, but I was smelling it combined with the sillage of something else I was testing, I think TF Azure Lime. It isn't that exciting to me on its own.
- TM Pure Malt - either it doesn't last long on me, or my nose gets numb to it. I'll still keep trying before giving up completely.

Top 3 changes too much but bottom 3 is easy:

Versace Blue Jeans (Wore this too often and now find it disgusting, not sure I ever liked it)
CK One (Too feminine smelling, I find myself grabbing the more masculine Chrome instead)
Wings (Unwearably sweet, but not a bad scent)
Top three is WAY too tough!

Bottom three...

1st place.... Nightlife for him by Ministry of Sound. Awful. Just utterly shit. Smells cheaper than cheap. I'd expect a tramp to be wearing a better fragrance than this.

2nd place CK Euphoria. So weak. So...just nothing. It's what nothingness smells like. Bought for me as a gift.

3rd place Joop! Jump. Horrible synthetic mess. Bought under the influence of a pretty girl. I now know that's a bad idea.

I'm with you there. I was all set to love this one based on the reviews, but it honestly smelled like a mixture of some sort of coconut Malibu and hairspray. I can't imagine reaching for this one again. I'm all up for boozy fragrances, but not the ones that smell like something a 19 year old college girl would drink with her girlfriends (or wear in her hair).
