im not a great fan of pure malt, its ok but nothing groundbreaking, a*men is pure power and pure malt is only more versitale variation but really nothing groundbreaking

You are OK to blind buy Pure Malt if you like A-men and peat moss, because that's what it smells like.

absolutely.

the whiskey peeks out in the top and the resemblance to A Men appears in the chocolate patchouli dry down...it's hard to dislike this fragrance....though it's not nearly as harsh as a*men, especially regarding the tar note...so if that's something you love about a*men don't expect to find it in pure malt....they're both different enough from one another where owning both makes sense. go for it!

If you like A*Men, you'll like Pure Malt. Be forewarned, Pure Malt is no where near as loud as A*Men. At least on me.

There's no need to blind buy it. I sent an e-mail to TM and they sent me a free 1ml spray sample of pure malt so I'd recommend doing that. Then again I think it's pretty safe to blind buy because even if you don't like it you can most likely sell it for what you paid for it.

I wasn't a fan of A*Men (the original)...but I love Pure Malt. However, my wife says I smell like a grandpa..maybe her grandpa loved whiskey...
