The dreamer or Zino?

I'm looking for a darker, more mysterious scent - something a bit different-and have been told that these two fragrances have those qualities. Do you agree and if so, which would you choose? Do you think both have a 'timeless' quality?

I never tried Dreamer, but I smelled it on my colleague before.

IMHO, Im not sure which one is the best for you but if you're looking for something dark, mysterious, a bit different scent, I guess Zino is the best choice compared to Dreamer. Not because of I had wear Zino before (I have it in my collection) but I think the smell of Zino is not the one that you can find easily in other mainstream cologne or fragrances. And as far as I know. not all guy can really wear this.

Dreamer for me, smells too common (for a girl who's nose got tortured by many scents). But I admit, it's nice and slightly romantic to me (at first I wonder why my colleague wear that to office).

But hey, different people have different opinion and body chemistry. Perhaps you should try them first see how's the result. Another thing about Zino, the longevity is not really good (on my skin).

Zino, definitely!

The Dreamer actually doesn't strike me as dark. It's a nice composition but the lily note seems screechy and bright to me whereas the jasmine/lily-of-the-valley accord in Zino is wound round with aromatics, patch and other dark woods, and clary sage. I hope that others will speak up for The Dreamer but I would certainly go with Zino of the two. The other thing to say is that Zino is very much a dense, patch-heavy, 80's kitchen-sink-style composition of the sort that will corner you in the bar and swear up and down it was at Woodstock although you're pretty sure those groovy threads are more early 80's LA psychedelia than early 70's commune workshop. It will strike some people as dated. I say let your remastered, skinny-tie 80's freak flag fly.

I think the dreamer is awful...I bought into all the good reports, but IMO it smells like raid and cigarette ash, just my humble opinion

Zino = Rose
Dreamer = flowers and dessert

Zino is, I'd imagine, far and away the more "dark and mysterious" scent.

Dreamer :

I like both and wear each about the same in my rotation. For the purpose of this particular question, I would have to agree that Zino fits your bill.

Zino

the dreamer isn't really dark or mysterious

personally i would choose Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme or Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui
