Any fans of Montale Attar? Can you describe it?

I want a rose-dominant scent with woods, or a woodsy scent with rose. Does Attar fit the bill? Any thoughts on it?
Thanks.

I think Black Aoud fit the bill brilliantly

Attar is a great scent with excellent longevity.

I am smelling a tiny sample I have of Montale Attar as I write, and have just added it to my wish list. Rose, sandalwood and I think oud. Lovely and smooth.

Attar is really good....it's fresh, a little spicy, with a hint of "arabian touch" going on....kind of elegant actually.

Though I'm not impressed by the Montale line, Attar is a smooth, nice scent, albeit I can't find any wood in it whatsoever. And I find Louban a bit better version of Attar.

When I first tried it I likened it to being slapped around the head with a bunch of roses . There is of course a lot more to it than that , I find it quite boozy and sandalwoody . Quite medicinal in the top and Oud and Saffron are in with the mix too , I love it

This........with repeated wearings.....has become the only Montale I'll add. The more I wear it, the better I like it. Compared to most other Montales, there is a slight transparency to this one. Medicinal but without the overbearing heaviness I attribute to the house and some spiciness going on with the dark rose.

Attar is very wearable and g2g for me.

How does it/them compare to Amouage attars, please?
It is like Black Aoud without so much oud. Less medicinal and more rose.

They simply do not compare to the Amouage attars!
I have and love Montales Attar- Its incredibly rosy, with a nice gentle soft and shimmery sort of sandalwood- really striking... but it in no way compares with the sheer extravagant stunning multilayered Heaven in a bottle that is Homage.
