Good Morning Happy Day

Miss Charming by Juliette Has A Gun
Charming and joyful aroma of Morocco Rose ...

Happy Birthday Timaru

Good morning! Sleep-deprived, tired and frustrated with mankind today, Le Temps d'Une Fête layered with 90's Cabochard EdT helps. Strangely, the Cabochard just seems to amp up Le Temps d'Une Fête, even in double amounts - I still smell mostly green narcissus with some barnyard, only with better sillage and longevity.

Beautiful by Estée Lauder.

Hello all. Guerain AA Lavande Velours.

I'm a sillage monster today... :P No.5 Body Lotion, No.5 Parfum with ONE spritz of vintage No.5 EdP... Oh, do I smell glorious today...

I'm in Balmain de Balmain today, but on my left arm I also have a generous spritz of Chloé Eau de fleurs Néroli...

I hope Twolf and Knit-at-night are felling better today!
This morning is Rochas Femme. If this weather continues, I'll have to check my collection to see which "seasonal" fragrances I have been ignoring in the cold weather.

How is everybody today?
More errands and projects here at the House of Quarry: dog to vet for checkup, spare computer to the shop for repairs, old fax machine to Goodwill. Ain't life glam?
Change of pace: Bulgari Black speaks to me today.
Hello everyone!

I'm in Vent Vert, vintage edt.

Y'all have a great day!
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go..well, just to the next room in the house to do more packing.
Make a run to Goodwill to drop off the, looks-like-they've-never-been-worn, Timberline boots my daughter has outgrown.
The Vietnam Vets will pick up the bookcase and two china cabinets. I just have to arrange to have them outside.
My sweetie will be home Saturday. He has jury duty next week.

But, I am going to hang out with devilcat & wear Chanel Eau Premiere today.

Off I go to run around like a wild woman......

*waves while running OTD, Happy birthday, Timaru!*

Sampling another coffee scent today, Black Vetyver Cafe. I guess I like this one the best so far, but don't really smell much coffee. Anyone have any suggestions for me as far as coffee scents. I still have a sample of A*Men Pure Coffee to try. Short day at actual work as I have a training session on a new database to attend all afternoon. Talk about needing coffee, after lunch in a half lit room. Snooze...

Happy Birthday Timaru!

Have you tried Ayala Moriel's Finjan? It's quite good
I haven't tried this one, but Cafe Noir by Ava Luxe is also suppose to be very good.
Estee lauder Pleasures for me today, the weather is so springy.
My head cold is finally dripping out of my nose and eyes and the backpain is subsiding some to the point that I can sleep at night. I guess that cutting job hours at work came crushing down on me, literally. Mr.T says "Soon all you will be saying is Cookoo! Cookoo!" and I suppose he knows. We will see.

I put I Profumi di Firenzi Violetta di Bosco around the face and older Molyneux Initiation on the arms, can smell each only occasionally.

Sunnyfunny, you get better too -- it must be some sort of cold when one can't feel that favorite Caron of yours.
Today, Im wearing the last of a sample of Sarrasins.

Welltheres absolutely no denying the gorgeousness of this, is there? Its just not my style, as it makes me feel a bit queasy actually, but its a beautiful scent - just not for me. I need a bit of uplifting acidity in my fragrances these days. So I'm not unhappy to say goodbye to this one. Life is too short not to love our SotD, right?

Happy Birthday, Timaru!

Robert Piguet Visa. Voluptuous, rich, hugely satisfying.
Notes: white vineyard peach, pear, bergamot, ylang, rose, immortelle, orange flower, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, moss, vanilla, benzoin and leather

Best to those feeling poorly and a good day to all!

Heritage (vintage Eau de Parfum) by Guerlain

Perhaps not the best choice for a hot, sunny, windy day here in Miami (I'm sweating at my desk! It's March!?), nonetheless I smell like a million bucks.
Sonoma Scent Studio Wood Violet today. I'm enjoying it so far but hoping some of the "niceness" of the scent develops into something a bit more challenging. Some sweaty cumin or musk or cedar sharpness would be good. I guess I'm just not a nice girl!
Forgive me, but it's again Guerlain's Vetiver 1996 EdT. I couldn't resist. Jean-Paul Guerlain wanted the beginning of the fragrance to resemble the freshness of foggy countryside mornings, and he came so close it gave you goosebumps. The loss of this part, the foggy-morning feeling, is to my nose the only real drawback of the 2000 edition (which was altered once more recently).

Happy Birthdays to Timaru!

pimpinett, I hope your day gets brighter!

Parfum Sacre for me today.

Lots of little chores going on today, I see!
As sotE I'm experimenting a bit with layering AL Nag Champa with OJ Champaca. I find the Nag Champa kind of difficult to wear alone since I expected it to smell more like the real thing.Adding Champaca makes it smell a lot better in my opinion

I better go pack as I'm leaving to GA today, but I will tell y'all first that I'm starting Speak and Sniff early with Cocktail by Jean Patou, a gentle chypre, that I learned about during the month of January sniffs, thanks to Haunani! If everything works as planned, I will wear Coriandre tonight, thanks to another kind BNer, and will spend Friday on the plane and in Ma Griffe old-ish but already reformulated *sigh* EDT.

Iechris, New Haarlem? Have you tried that? I thought you had. Another lovely coffee is Lumiere from DSH perfumes, samples available on her website. I remember liking it a lot, coffee and spices.
Paul Smith London. It's a sample. I sort of hated it at first, but it's grown on me.

Twolfie, thank you but I feel fine and my TB is as satisfying as ever! I was just sending out a good wish. Head colds are so lovely when they get to that point. Glad you're on the mend and can sleep again. All this from cutting hours?

Happy Birthday to Timaru!

Sotd is Borneo 1834. I gave that one coworker a headache almost immediately, so I scrubbed my arms and took off my shirt (fortunately I'm sporting a cami underneath and have to wear a smock, anyway.) Also fortunately, I can still smell it , so perhaps one spray of this one is enough.

A 1000 Kisses Deep by B Never too Busy to Be Beautiful.
Getting on the road later than we wanted to, but we're about to get there.

Thanks, Haunani! (I am out of thanks).
Lovely swap just landed me with sample of Sycomore so that's what I'm wearing to bed tonight.
SotD was Omnia for comfort as there are major changes in my work-life - a new boss, a new location, a new focus by higher-ups on the work I do, new and higher expectations by those higher-ups....but as long as I can continue the same work that I love and still maintain my somewhat part-time status, it's all good. Especially when I wear Omnia.

Sampling Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia from the 30 Roses sample group tonight. It's lovely, but lasts about 30 minutes and then it's gone. I like it while it lasts, though.
