Difference between HP and HP Elixir:

"Hypnotic Poison Elixir smells quite similar to the original Hypnotic Poison.
It's just a tad bit varmer and darker.
Especially in the beginning I pick up a more distinct smell of the licorice and star anise.
In my opininon it smells a little bit sweeter than the original.
I guess the licorice gives it the extra sweetness, combined with the anise of course.
Smells absolutely wonderful.
Both the original and the elixir are worth buying, and I often use them at the same time.
It is a little werid that the only notes listed on this page are licorice, star anise, jasmine and vanilla though. Since clearly that's only some of the notes in this frag. It is a very complex fragrance to my nose. And I don't think they have been cutting out some of the notes from the original. At least I think they smell very similar.
They are both great fragrances.
As said before, a very memorable smell.
