How to tell 8.4oz Green Irish Tweed is not a fake?

How often do you find fake Green Irish Tweed in 8.4oz flacon, and how do you tell your bottle and juice is real? I'm buying one and getting a little nervous.

I don't think I've ever heard of a flacon being faked.

It would be easiest to fake. Just obtain a real flacon and open the lid, fill with fake juice. Anybody could do it.

A GIT flacon filled with Cool Water! How could anyone really tell the difference? lol

Sniffa, If you are buying from the same seller I purchased from, I have no doubt at all about the GIT being genuine (and an excellent batch too, IMO). The packaging and flacon itself is consistent with other Creed flacons I have. Please report on how you rate that batch of GIT when you receive it.

Hi Jazznpool, yes it's from the same seller, thanks for the info. Just curious, was it easy to pour from flacon into the atomiser and if the flacon's cap is resealable / vacuum thingy?

Yes, the fitted glass stopper for the Pochet glass flacon should be put back in place very snug to prevent evaporation. I use a calibrated syringe to draw fragrance out of the flacons, or I pour from flacon into a 100ml glass beaker I bought off eBay for this purpose. When I pour from the beaker to an atomizer I use a funnel. I clean the implements with a paper towel and perfumer's alcohol I have put into a plastic "ketchup" type squeeze bottle. I hope that helps.
