Best sexy vanilla?

What's your opinion on the best sexy fragrance with prominent vanilla notes? Not looking for something sweet/desserty/candy-like here, but rather something warm, enveloping, luxurious, maybe a little glamorous or mysterious, maybe accented with amber, musk, or woods. So far I have enjoyed L de Lolita Lempicka and Prada l'Eau Ambree.

First thought that hit me was Shalimar, but you've probably tried it already?

Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Musc Ravageur came to my mind.

Vanille Insensée by Atelier Cologne is an amazing vanilla fragrance. Sexy, if you will.

For me it is Escada Collection. I never came across a similar edible vanilla scent. Pity it's discontinued.

Yeah, Shalimar.

Try the parfum (if you can afford it) or the limited edition flanker Shalimar Ode de la Vanille (if you can find it), or just the plain ol' Eau de Parfum (if you like civet) or last-but-certainly-not-least the Eau de Cologne (my favorite version - preferably vintage juice).

Vanilia by L'Artisan is smoky(incense) vanilla. There are a few bottles left on Ebay.

Excellent suggestions so far.

If you're open to wearing masculine fragrances, Boucheron Jaipur Homme is a refined oriental with a wonderful vanilla note, and it's sexy as all get out. My husband and I both love wearing it.

I got a sample of Eau Duelle from Diptyque tonight, and I think it fits the bill for a sexy vanilla. Maybe a bit more intellectual sexy rather than "rowr" sexy.

I think the Vanille Noire fits your criteria well. There is nothing gourmand about this scent. And I find it has nice longevity as well.

I find Lancome Hypnose to be a subtle, yet sexy vanilla/gourmand/oriental. There are times when subtle can be sexier than full throttle
