Egoïste Platinum, Fierce Abercrombie & Fitch & Chrome Azzaro

What makes these fragrances so alluring and metallic? I have been comparing the note breakdowns and have found similar notes and some not so much. I have read that fierce has a chemical in it that isn't safe for men to come in contact with so I am trying to find a replacement for my fierce.

Similar notes:
fir, petit-grain, cardamom, rosemary, brazilian rosewood, jasmine, neroli and lily of the valley

While chrome has a multitude of different notes not sure how it gets its metallic scent. I am mainly interested in finding a fierce replacement or identifying the notes that make it unique.

Thanks

I think it's the pineapple note....PE, Chrome, and A&F does not have pineapple listed as a note here in BN, but if you try Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive... it smells like Platinum Egoiste and has that metallic note... Pineapple is one of the note...

Not to derail this thread, but I have heard that Joop Nightflight! has a similarity in these fragrances. Trying to pinpoint which one out of the 5 (EP, Fierce, Azzaro, Riverside Drive) would give me the best silliage and Longevity.

Might be a worthwhile addition to your search op!

Not sure if it's a particular note which makes Egoïste Platinum and Chrome Azzaro alluring, but I sure like them both.
