Where do you all store your fragrances..

Hey guys,

Now that my collection is roughly 20+ bottles I am looking for a nice case or shelving type peice of furniture to store my bottles. I know some say that they store everything in a mini fridge, but i don't know if that is necessary since i know people have mixed opinions on that.

No idea where to begin looking for something liek this, i'm assuming just a Target or normal furniture store should have something that meets my needs. I kind of wanted it to be enclosed in glass, thought that would look sweet.

Anyways, for the people that do have their frags stored ? Currently I have everything in the bottom drawer of my dresser, so its in the dark and not exposed to any light, but its such a pain to go through the bottles and just looks so unorganized.

If you get a cabinet enclosed in glass, will you keep your fragrances in their boxes? Consider that light is the biggest enemy of the fragrances.

Good point. I really don't watn to keep them in boxes. I have just been seeing a few youtube reviewers collection vidoes and really digging the way they have them stored. I'd just like a nice way to have them as far as presention when you walk into my room and for people to see as well. Its a shame to hide them all in a drawer.

There is limited lighting that would come in the room, just the light from my night stand lamp and fan, and thats whe i have them turned on. Both windows have blinds and wasn't planning on storing it near the window. i was thinking inside my big walk in closet.

I keep them in a cabinet with frosted glass. Many years later and nothing has changed with them. As long as they're not in direct sun and in a cool room, you're good.

Keep mine in my store room. It's cool there all year round and it's in total darkness apart from when I open the door to use one of them.

I guess what i'm looking for is more what type of furniture peice do you store your fragrances in? on top of a table top, shelving unit , ect... I'm thinking in my closet will be the best place since its walk in with plenty of space and door is always close so it will be dark at all times

A fridge is totally unnecessary. I use a bookshelf/cabinet that has doors for the bulk of my display plus a couple smaller bookshelves I cover with a tapestry during the day). You can find similar cabinets from Ikea fairly inexpensively. Another alternative is to buy blackout curtains for whichever room you keep your fragrances in to avoid sunlight. Right now I'm pretty much out of display space so bottles are just accumulating in their boxes on a shelf, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a new cabinet soon....

In a closet/drawer - and if they came with a box, they stay in their box.

I do not display fragrances. I also do not see a need for a refrigerator.

i know that sucks my bottles are so gorgeous i want to display them. and it's a hassle to open a drawer, shuffle through boxes, open box carefully and spray. how about a bookshelf type display with no doors away from direct sunlight?

CD Boxes are good.

In their original packaging, in their original boxes and then stacked in plain shelves or cabinets

Mine is in a wine cooler at a controlled temperature of 13 degrees:

PS: The door is now with silver tint to block the sunlight.

Isnt that a bit annoying when your trying to find one and you have to take a few out to get to it?

The ones up front are the ones I use in rotation. I am used to it anyway. I don't mind digging up from inside as long as I know they're safe. =)
