Good morning,
I seem to be haunted by a disgustingly sweet almondy women's fragrance, because I come accross it at every corner in Vienna. Good for Vienna that I still have style and good taste , so I'm back to Mitsouko again today. It's official now: I LOVE the new extrait.
Have a great day from rather sunny Vienna, where the weather has been better than forecast.

Take care, all!

Like shoegal68, I'm thinking of lilies of the valley today. I'm wearing AA Lilia Bella.

Have a great day, everyone!

Prowl by Neil Morris today. Meow!

Probably the next actual full bottle of perfume I will buy. If it survives the heat today. If my job survives. Definitely dark floral, kind of serious & sexy except for the grape koolaid vibe at the beginning that sometimes shows up and sometimes doesn't.

{{{{Mimi}}}}

Woke up with a start this morning, deeply embedded in a complex dream and a vicious headache. It's better now, cuppa coffee & 2 Aleve took the edge off.

My daughter walked into our kitchen this morning & asked: "What smells like pee?" Litter box in the adjacent laundry room, I wondered? No, that wasn't it. Turns out it was me, or rather my fragrance. Bruno Acampora's Jasmine T to be exact. I tried twice to scrub it off, Ajax grapefruit dish liquid with bleach & ALL laundry detergent. It finally became less stinky after I used the ALL. Then I explained about indoles to my girl. She still thinks it was horrible.

After morning ablutions, I'll select something else.

It's Bvlgari Black for me today.

I'm wearing Ananas Fizz today. It's such a happy scent. Almost carbonated.

I need some advice. It takes me about an hour and a half each day to get to work by bus. I'm often late. It takes about 20 minutes by car.

We have a new woman working in our office and she lives about 15 minutes from me. She also lives about 15 minutes closer to work. She has offered to pick me up and bring me home. I think she wants to make sure that we like and appreciate her.

I think will probably like and appreciate her and she doesn't need to drive me anyplace for that to happen. ) I feel like I'm taking advantage of her and if she does start taxiing me around it adds an hour a day to her commute and I feel pretty icky about that. Can I tell her no thank you without hurting her feelings do you think?

LOL! Thanks for sharing! I have his Jasmin quite on top of my priority list to sample, but then I have notoriously clean washing skin.

Larimar, Vienna sounds beautiful!
Debbborra, maybe take her up on the offer for a week, in an effort to get to know her and her to know you, but then you can gracefully back out as not to burden her. It was very kind of her to offer, so she must mean it.
It's warm and sunny, and I feel like Acqua di Parma's Magnolia Nobile today! I love this one!

Well, this morning she came to the same realization. That extra half hour in the AM is killer. I was glad that she came to that conclusion, and I think she was relieved that I wasn't upset, completely got it.

Hello everyone I can totally relate to Mimi today! Yesterday me and one of my studygroup gals sat 12 hours writing on the assignment...Today wedid the rest...and we finally finished after 6,5 hours.... I'm so happy to get it over with!!! It's been a very frustrating process with bad cooperation within the group Now I'm only looking forward to coffee with one of my best friends tomorrow Sotd is L.

Shhhh. I'm sneak-wearing Thymes Fig Leaf & Cassis. My very dear husband dislikes it in direct proportion to how greatly I like it. It's so wonderfully green and sweet/sour. It simply pulls my trigger, so whatcha gonna do? Sneak.

Emitting power vibes to all in need. I'm not just recuperated from my recent stresses, but I've got energy to spare and wish I could fight some of your battles for you kids.

EL-OH-VEE-EE -- L-O-V-E the caftan, booze and flacon-rearranging notion put forth and joined in on by your clever gals yesterday.

Coopmom, good luck with all the moving plans. Glad to have you back.

RHM, Love the Jasmin T story. Think I'll skip that one. LOL.

Shoegal, Yes, you may become one of the caftan crowd. I joined yesterday.

Quarry, Healing thoughts your way. Stress causes so many problems.

Today I started with Jolie Madame for dog-walking. Now it's time for a shower and something new in the way of fragrance. Think I'll have some Calandre -- it's been awhile.

Wearing Pheromone.

Wishing relaxation and energy for our stressed-out friends!

I'd like to join the caftan community too! (if you'll permit me to wear "hostess pajamas" -- and tipple single malts?)

Santos (vintage) After Shave by Cartier [from a sample - thanks Futami]

As hearty as an EdT, this is taking-it-back-to-the-old-school. Nice and mossy, very butch and masculine & really good. Nothing at all like the Santos on shelves now. (sigh)

We finally have power again after being without for a day and a half. Unfortunately that means I have to work today, and I'm now behind. At least I received a free birthday latte this morning from my favorite coffee stand on my way in!

I've been on a fig kick the past few days with Philosykos and my new Elevate candle from Tyler Candle Company. Yum! Most of my birthday stuff was early this year, so I wanted to feel special today in Chanel Coco.

This morning seems to have brought with it my usual midweek sense of indecision, i.e, which scent? which scent? I'm leaning toward Fidji, so perhaps I should take the leap and choose it. Take care, all.

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil today. It's the end of my sample, and while I like it, I'm not sure if I love it, so I'm not sure if I'll put it on my "to buy eventually" list.

Lush/Gorilla Karma. I smell like a dirty hippie. Not gonna be in a hurry to wear this again.
Picked up a gem of a scent, Chanel Cristalle edt. Definitely caftan worthy!

I like this older review (2005) of Cristalle and much prefer the edt over the greener (if you can believe it) edp.

I'm in Serge Lutens today, too, but, in typical ExtremeKF fashion, I've gone and doubled up: Muscs Koublai Khan dabbed and Fleurs de Citronnier sprayed over top.

Can I be innocent and dirty all at the same time?

Apparently so.

Late day for me, but I'm testing one of the Chloe's ... eau de fleurs, Cappucine - which I immediately associated with coffee, til I sniffed it. Very fresh, very green, something my sister may love. I don't hate it, I just am not in love.
