Burberry for Men mint note

Thread Starter
I just took a shower, washed off the brit I was wearing today, then I sprayed a couple of sprays on burberry for men on my wrist, and one on my neck, and the scent seems to be really mint dominated - on my skin at least.

Am I imagining this, or what?

Can't say as I pick up any mint.

There is mint in there. I don't get a great deal but it's there for me at the start and in the middle stages. Everyones skin reacts differently so that may be it.

I got mint from this fragrance, too. It was one of the things I've never liked about it.

People always mention the minute in this, but I own this and have never detected it very strongly, if any at all...

I think it's there, though maybe not a whole ton. If I sniff it while thinking about the mint, I can find it, but otherwise it just blends into a kind of uniform herbalness.

I most definetly get a mint note. I doesn't overtake all the notes or dominate the accord. But it is there.

Yeah. I catch less of a strictly mint smell (I love mint!) and more of a sort of fake wintergreen odor, like in "ice" gums and fluoride toothpaste. Almost a menthol. Can't stand it. I really want to like the cologne, but I'm going to give away my bottle because of this overwhelming smell, which simply doesn't fade, to my nose.
