what are the Best aoud designer scents for men?

i know this ingredient is more in the niche fragrances

today i tried fagrenheit aBsolute and i liked it a lot
i see this contains aoud

i have read m7 is another good designer scent with agarwood

is there out in the market more designer scents with this aoud note?

which one do y'all think it's the Best?

I am a fan of oud, it is difficult to pick out one I like best. Just off the top of my head--I like Fahrenheit Absolute. It starts off with a whiff of the original fragrance, and then becomes very rich with the woods. Another I like is Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Aoud de Nuit. This seems to be a bit hard to find, unless I am not looking in the right places. After sampling it, I was able to come close to the same effect by layering Rochas Man with Le Labo Oud 27--in other words, a sweeter, gourmand approach to oud.

There are countless facets to oud and it takes some exploration and sampling to figure out what one likes for themselves. There aren't all that many designer ouds but plenty of niche houses offer oud fragrances reasonably.

Some of my favorite ouds:

Juliette Has a Gun Midnight Oud
Micallef Aoud Vanille
Montale Red Aoud
Montale Oud Cuir d'Arabie
Caron Oud

YSL M7 is certainly a good perfume, but it's very potent and not particularly versatile - it's very much a 'make a huge statement' perfume.

M7, no challenge. Though there are much cheaper middle eastern ouds.

Habit Rouge EdP contains agarwood and it makes a real difference.

I'm not very familiar with aoud, and what it's supposed to smell like. But Micallef has a fragrance called "Micallef Homme (aoud)" that smells really nice. It's on my eventually buy list.

The only two designer fragrances with aoud that I know of are

Fahrenheit Absolute
M7

They're both really good, but unfortunately M7 has been reformulated and isn't what it used to be. Niche fragrances have more fragrances that utilize aoud, and you'll find plenty of good suggestions listed above. Just know that the majority of them will be a step up in price.

I don't know if M7 Fresh has been reformulated as well, but that's another option... Halston Man Amber also has aoud included amongst the notes
