Divine L'Homme Sage - current thoughts?

Thread Starter
I did do a search on this, and there are a couple of older threads. Sorry if this is a duplicate.

But wante to know if anyone out there is still lovin' this one. Can you share thoughts? Bottle worthy?

Yes, I still love it, though I don't find myself wearing it often. I really, really like the topnotes in particular, but the base tends to land with a thud, especially in the heat. I'm pretty liberal when it comes to aligning scents with seasons/weather, but L'Homme Sage is mostly a fall and winter pick for me.

I've seen some good and some bad press on the board about this one. But for me its a must have. Everytime I wear it, I love it even more.

Regards,
Steve

One of my better buys, although I rarely wear it. But I love it

Cmax...

Like it, wouldn't mind owning it. I ordered a couple samples from Luckyscent, and they were factory 1.7 mL samples (for $3/ea) so give it a try before you buy if you're not sure.

One of my faves, imo thats on my short list

Love the scent but I have few places to wear it.

Have it, like it, don't seem to wear it as often I would guess I would given my high regard. I group this with Taurer's LDoM, Donna Karan's DK Men Fuel - leaded & unleaded, and Bulgari Black. Not saying these are all the same, I just group 'em together for the shared similarities I pick up. I like this group for fall/winter.

I only enjoy the top notes. Tha dry down kind of makes me sneeze....I don't know, it just too sharp.

Great stuff. I think it's a must own frag.

Agree with others before me - A very nice fragrance.

Not a fan, starts out okay but pretty quickly veers into something that feels like a fairly common synthetic 'prolonger' to me - not what I expected at this price point. Front loaded, basically.

I love it as well...easily a top 5 for me. That said, I would only wear this on cool-to-cold days. Summer is coming so I'll be putting it on the shelf for a while. Also, not a moster with projection, more of a skin scent - perfect for romantic/close quarters enjoyment

I like it a lot and it does remind me of Tauer's L'Air, only much milder.

I did not like it at all.

sampled this today and don't think much of it or the rest of the male line, although eau divine was ok..

I love it, consider it a masterpiece.

Sampled this recently, warm and spicy with a fruityness. I like it.

Another indian spices scent that I don't find occasions to wear.

I generally agree with this. It's a great release but I don't think I'd wear it out much.

Ted Lapidus smells like mint and cocoa powder to my nose. Odd because I love the opening of L'Homme Sage, but hate the dry down.

I bought a full bottle after sampling and used it once! Now every time I try to wear it again, something in my head tells me not to so I avoid it.
