I smelled this fragrance at Macy's and I fell in love!

LOL - When's the wedding?

(It's a good smell, I'll admit. Not in my collection, but a nice modern fougère.)

The wedding is hopefully May 3rd - May 6th! Yeah it really is, it has a nice and quiet blend and the chicks dig it.

I'm always watching what people are digging when I'm sniffing new releases in Sephora, and FFL is consistently one of the most popular ones.

What about Only The Brave - do you like that one too? I'm kind of undecided about it. It seems pretty good, and very distinctive, but I just haven't really bought into it. Not sure why.

Wow I had no idea it was that popular!

Well while I was at Macy's I put FFL on my neck and then I wanted to see what OTB was like so I put that on my wrists. To me it started out really fresh and sweet but not as fruity as FFL. I put it on at 2 P.M., it seemed to have lasted the rest of the day on my wrists. The dry down I noticed it to be wuite woody, I like this part the best, I like woods in fragrances. This fragrance projects itself pretty well also. It is a very modern fragrance and that's not a bad thing. From reviews on basenotes, not many people seem to like it, but that seems odd to me, the top notes may be a little overpowering but otherwise the dry down is great. Seems to me you can wear this frag anywhere at anytime.

FFL smells nice but it turns horrid on my skin after a while. It's the problem with my skin though, sometimes it decides to get bitchy with certain scents and I cannot wear that scent even though I like it.

That is too bad, not being able to wear a fragrance you like!

Sampled this the other day because it was being pushed by a SA. Have to say was not that thrilled with it. Happy for the OP anyway.

I feel like the person who can't help but stand up during the wedding and not hold his peace

Harsh man, harsh. You can't stop this wedding from happening, because you weren't invited.

LOL

*********

....seated in the crowd at the wedding....

Bleu de Chanel: "Fuel For Life isn't wearing white!"
Redneck Perfumisto: "I heard that they did it in Macy's!"
Bleu de Chanel: (hits RP in the shoulder): "You don't even look at me in Macy's anymore!"
Redneck Perfumisto: "But...but...but..."
Bleu de Chanel: (hits RP with purse) "I want a trip to France!"

Tried it w/ a bad attitude (do not like other Diesel frags), was pleasantly surprised, will have to try again.
It's the best diesel frag, which is the best thing I can say about it.

Yeah I saw that online too! It was much cheaper but I didn't want to get too fruity with it. But I suppose I will have to try this one out!

Why is it so much cheaper though?

I love Fuel For Life and it is a compliment monster as well. I wore it to a Christmas party last December and one woman went out of her way to find out what cologne I was wearing and told me that she would do "serious damage" on her husband if he were wearing it. I have around 50 fragrances in my collection and FFL ranks right up there with best longevity. Good purchase!

because It has less concentration and theoretically , less staying power.

Sorry JakeStiebs not at all. I should try it myself before I stick the nose in, I've just been disappointed by other D frags in the past. And just having a bit o fun too

So what would the longevity of it be then? Is it like the longevity of AXE or a body spray of some sort?

Married and she was welcomed into my mansion (my closet)! She can now sit and talk with my other wives.
