Fragrance for meeting with professor

Tomorrow I have a meeting with my professor in financial law, and I want to wear the perfect fragrance. I was thinking about terre d'hermes or bleu de chanel. They both feel very summery and fresh to me, since it'll be very hot tomorrow and I'm going to be wearing a suit. Other possibilities are eternity by CK, voyage d'hermes, l'homme by YSL.

A very stressful thanks in advance!

From my collection I would wear Acqua Di Parma Assoluta. From your options, I would go with Bleu De Chanel.

I have colonia assoluta at home, but not in here. Would be a perfect fragrance though

Yeah, it is my go to fragrance when I want to be inoffensive yet noticeable. To me it exudes manliness and class while not being over done. I get a really nice "fresh from the barber shop" vibe from it too, which really just means clean to me. But, Bleu is a great option. Again, not overbearing or polarizing. Hard to not like or at least find pleasant. You aren't trying to knock your prof's socks off with your fragrance, just trying to make sure you smell good.

Exactly! Thanks a lot for your advice. It's quite an important meeting, not that my scent will have a direct connection the outcome, but making a good impression is almost as important as the things said.

As usual with work meetings, the important is to be light. You don't want to smell too much. I wear suits and I spray armpits and shirts armpits. This way the perfume remains close to the body and doesn't project too much.

That said, having been a teacher myself (though not of law), a perfume couldn't be less important in the situation.

Personally in this situation Penhaglions would of been the perfect house. Creed might be a little over the top. Racquets Formula, Bllenheim Bouquet, English Fern, Castille etc... Good luck any way.

I think Bleu would be a fine choice from your options. Wouldn't go wrong with TDH of course, either, although there is the remote chance that the prof could be sensitive to iso-e super...

I agree with the recommendation of Penhaligon's. You should look into this house if you're going into law (I'd recommend it to any professional, really). Proper, pleasant, understated yet tenacious. Great business frags IMO, and not boring. I'll add Sartorial and Opus 1870 to the options.

I tend to wear intimidating scents when meeting professors. They work for me, not the other way around.

Voyage d'Hermes. Light & sophisticated without being too overpowering. Or overdose on anything civet based lol.

Go with Terre d'Hermes

I wear Yatagan when meeting with students.

My suggestion, Terre D'Hermes. I'd stay away from Chanel's Blu because it can be a bit clawing in close quarters (and we don't know if he likes fragrance or not).

But yeah, will echo that the fragrance should give you a boost of confidence and not try to impress him in any way.

Well... he's not gonna smell you, will he? go for something light and easy, and that goes for cologne, shirt and tie!

I'd certainly avoid terre de hermes it's massively strong and may offend. Some find it sickly.

Choose the mildest one
