Reverse Hair Thinning?? (Not Hair loss)

Thread Starter
Hello, is there anything that can reverse hair thinning?

I currently use a shampoo with DHT inhibitors such as saw palmetto.
And tablets which contain saw palmetto etc,

Also starting using minxodil.

Anything that you use that actually does work?

Thanks

Sorry, but hair thinning IS hair loss. Check out the hair loss thread for more details but stay away from the alternative remedies as they do not work. Minixidil is a good start, but to seriously stop it I would suggest consulting a doctor about getting on Proscar / Propecia.

as Jad D said, Hair thinning is the beginning of hair loss.
If you're going to do anything about your hair loss, it's important you start as soon as you notice thinning of hair.

I use Ketoconazole Shampoo w/ Salicylic Acid in combination with Minoxidil 5%. If you can find Minoxidil 10%, that's a good idea too.

Just make sure to use that stuff (minoxidil) carefully.

Use Kerastase - they have an excellent range to prevent hair thinning. I have been using Kerastase products for many years including the anti thinning products -shampoos and tonics. Excellent.

...or you could just shave them all off and be done with it! Scientific studies show that it works in 9.5 out of 10 cases (there's always some dumb ass) and usually it looks far better then any attempt to conceal a hair loss. Man up!

That's true - you could . Bald men are quite en vogue and sexy IMO.

Anybody that actually invented anything that really worked for hair loss would be multi-billionaires by now, and we all would know about it. Instead we have lots of millionaires living off false hopes from the potions they sell.

The only thing that is known to work (other than castration or semi chemical castration) is a hair transplant - so why muck around watching hair falling out every day while spending a small fortune on potions that don't work. Firstly get a medical opinion on what is causing the hair loss. If it is indeed male pattern baldness, call the hair transplant person, and start getting it done before the hair falls out - doing it early saves one from looking unattractive during the procedure, as opposed to doing it after all the hair is gone.
Cheers,
Renato
