What to wear for the rapture

Has anybody plans for what to wear Saturday 21st?
I was thinking of something innocent like my vintage L'air du temps if I want to be raptured, or something which smells like sin, like Tabu, if I decide I want to stick around a bit longer.

Um... What's saturday 21rst about? *scratches head*

LOL! There is some "family radio" guy ( and ex-Baptist minister) who believes he's figured out the end of the world...It's May 21st, if you care to know.

All religious discussion aside...I think the OP would like to know what scent you'd like to wear on the day of the apocalypse?

Saturday 21st is the ''rapture''. The ''End of days'' is set for October the 17th this year. At the rapture (which is not in the bible) the ''chosen ones'' get taken into heaven, while the rest of humanity will will be tortured until they beg for death until October 17th when all humans animals plants water and rock will be utterly destroyed by god.

I think it's really exciting to have this happen in our lifetime although I have to add it has already supposedly happened three times in my lifetime but I never noticed any change.
Americans especially are really keen on the rapture and the end of days.

Chaplain, what would you advice? Go for your favorite, or go for something very innocent?

Oh my! Hmmm... Passage d'Enfer, for sure!

Taking no chances I will be in BPAL Rapture of course, and listening/watching the Debbie Harry version too.

Kbe, that's the website! This family radio ''rapture at 21st of May'' was all over last time I was in Dallas, with a huge billboard by the highway proclaiming it, so I looked it up.
I have made appointments for the week after the 21st though...

I know personally a family--nice people-- the father and mother of which sold their house at a huge loss and moved the family of four to the south NC mountains to be closer to the 'center of the event' that was to take place in the late 1970s, according to their spiritual leader at the time. Calculation revisions by their pastor have taken place several times since their initial move. He still holds sway over a sizeable congregation. The family finally decided to return to this area.

I never cease to be amazed at such announcements and just love to read the corrections to calculations and the broken field running commentary that always follow. Stay tuned..

Yeah, I'm not feeling this one, either. Clearly the end of the world is being rushed to market. World government is spotty at best, and the black helicopters can't even land in the false prophet's villa without dropping their tail. Sorry - that's just not up to the brief in terms of nasty. Christ, we can't even agree on the antichrist. I say send it back to the focus group and let's move the release date to something that we're all on board with. 12/21/12 works for me.

SPOOKY EDIT: made at 6066 posts. I think the zero is a sign. DELAY THE LAUNCH.

I would go for the favorite, as I do not think The Almighty would be impressed with any feigned attempts at innocence. And whatever the outcome, you'd go out smelling wonderful (at least to yourself)

And 5/21/12 is 5+21+12 = 38 and 3+8 = 11 and your post was...#11!

Balmain de Balmain -- to celebrate, you are going to be one of 144K for sure, FrouFrou.

Balmain de Balmain is a great choice, though I am not planning to be going anywhere without my horse, my dog, my cat, and the Q!

But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Matthew 24:36

Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
Matthew 24:42

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.
Matthew 24:44

Well, Frou Frou, ever since I read the prescient Left Behind series (especially Desecration: Antichrist Takes the Throne [shiver]), I have kept my knickers fresh and my body lavishly perfumed for ascension... at all times. It's a gamble, I realize, but I feel staying 'all-systems-go' is a good investment.

Now, what will I be wearing when this thread gets reported? Probably Scent 79.

Crap! There's a mathematical connection of some kind! What are the odds???!!!

[Please be assured, fellow religious people, that we are only making fun of numerology, the zeroth science - not religion!]

Back on topic, I would wear Chanel no.5 Eau Premiere, or perhaps Narcisse en Folie. I think that a very ethereal floral is in order. These two have a certain quality of being both beautiful and very "unearthy" - very clean.
I don't see billboards posting rapture dates in NYC. Call me a cynic but I suspect there will be a lot of disappointed people still sticking around the day after. For them I'll wear: Shanti Shanti or Om to channel some good vibes.
I'd choose something like Le De or L'interdit. Conjure up the sweetness and innocence of Audrey Hepburn. Or perhaps Angel, which no doubt you will become.

I will be wearing Le Dix, prettily feminine, softly floral and appropriate for such a great occasion. I won't want to make too much fuss about myself, since past discretions may be remembered if I stand out too much.

Post of the day.

I think it depends if one is 'going' or 'staying' on the day.

If going, I think I'd favour Opium pour homme edp.

If staying, I expect that being tortured would include a 'no perfume' ruling.

Even Eau de Eau will be forbidden! Or maybe especially Eau de Eau!

Eau no is right! The only thing I hate worse than number tricks is Bible codes. GRRRRRRRRR. What an incredible fleece job.

When I was in college, I came up with an amazing scam of a similar nature (proof by amassing a set of attractive coincidences and hiding the failures) that would victimize new-agers. Obviously I didn't do it, but I calculated that just the initiating book sales would have gotten me very rich and set back popular science by decades. I tend to think the guys who do Bible codes really believe their junk, but sometimes I have to wonder. It's so provably fake, they just have to know at some level that they're scamming people.
How true Red. Just about any book of similar length as the Bible is capable of producing much the same codes as the Bible itself

I just mentioned not too long ago in some other thread about how I do hope they have perfume in other dimensions! hehehe

...

Now, will I be granted a priority straight-to-hell pass if I wear Heavenly by Vicky's Secret or Angel by Mugler on Rapture Day?
