I smelled and have samples of Riverside Drive, Wall Street, NY Oud, and New Haarlem. Ive also had other Bond's. I can say this. For the price and the claim of Eau De Parfum, they 90% of the frags don't last long and loose Sillage fast for Eau De Parfums. I've see EDT's destroy alot of there frags in over all quality. Only a small %tage of the community would claim monster long lasting silliage and and longevity.

I've kinda narrowed it down to some choices. Some I've smelled some I will have to blind buy or get samples but have read GREAT reviews. They are

Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver

Tom Ford's Extreme

Carnal Flower by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle <<< a blind buy

Christian Dior Dior Homme Intense <<<< a blind but but has Dior Homme Reg

Chanel Platinum

Creed Aventus <<<< has smelled once but has been months

Other (I'm Jaded from doing anything Bond. Up to $150 is my range. I see that just because its Niche dont mean its good.)

Ive smelled Chanel Egoieste, Tiffany For men, Chanel Pour Monsieur, didn't like them like I would've thought.

I think that Creed Aventus would do the trick. I like Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, too, but it's a bit more business than pleasure. Tom Ford Extreme is a bit..... extreme. The others just don't jump to mind. But Aventus is so well-liked and complmented, that I just have to pick it from the list.

For work and the office, wear Aventus.

For your wedding, wear Carnal Flower.

Creed Aventus

From your list, I would recommend Carnal Flower - but you really need to try it first.

Please do not buy Aventus or Chanel Platinum Egoiste for your wedding scent - or for any occasion.

+1! On everything!

Forget the reviews & go with your nose. It's the only thing that counts. Carnal Flower is the only standout from your list but unless you love florals on yourself, it's best to sample it first. I think you need to do some serious sampling. I am in the search of my own wedding fragrance myself and have come up with my own shortlist, or long list rather, considering I like close-wearing green/floral chypres, soft leather, rose, iris, tuberose, tobacco, incense notes:

Chanel Les Exclusifs - 31 rue Cambon, Cuir de Russie, No.19, Bois des Iles
Guerlain - Mitsouko EDP, Shalimar PDT
Amouage - Dia Man, Memoir Man, Epic Man
Xerjoff - Shingl, Homme, Oroville
Creed - Cuir de Russie
By Kilian - Beyond Love
Histoires de Parfums - Tubereuse La Capricieuse
Montale - Black Aoud
MFK - APOM pour Homme, Lumiere Noire pour Homme
MDCI - Invasion Barbare
Serge Lutens - Daim Blond, Serge Noire
Sonoma Scent Studio - Tabac Aurea, Incense Pure
...and the humble Grey Flannel!

Honestly I don't know how to pick one for the event. LOL. Maybe I'll just let my bride pick one from this list.

Perhaps you could do the same. Or tell us what notes/style you like & we'll try to come up with better recommendations.

This very day I sampled Grey Vetiver. I thought it subtle and very unique. And imagine someone asking you on your wedding day, "What fragrance are you wearing?" You say, "Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver." Then they reply, "Awww, you're wearing 'grey' and your bride is wearing white!"

I think there's something poetic about that, for what it's worth.

I voted Chanel Platinum Egoiste - now in fairness, I've never sampled Carnal Flower, which is in the lead, but I find PE to be a great, classy scent which is very versatile. Too be honest, I don't think there is a bad one on your bunch, although Aventus did not last long on me at all and I would never pay that price tag for it.

Prejudiced against what? Mediocre fragrances? Well then maybe you are right.

No, YOU decide what you're going to wear...she can decide what perfume she will wear. Man up.

I voted "other" with a recommendation of Habit Rouge.

I vote for anything in the Chanel Exclusifs line. You want a "special occasion" scent, not an everyday wear-to-work scent like PE or Grey Vetiver.

I was being ironic. Nonetheless, I think the wedding day isn't a good day for experiments and one should go with something she loves too (or nothing at all). But yeah, I think I wouldn't want her to decide what I wear.

i'm gonna wear kenzo power on mine. =) just sayin.

I would pick Dior Homme Intense or Carnal Flower.

But DHI isn't in your poll...you have Carnal Flower listed twice.
For this type of event I would go for any of the following

Saville Row
Antaeus
Creed Windsor
Le Labo Rose 31

I agree with matildaben: wear something that makes you feel special and luxurious and sends a tingle up your spine. Let your nose decide But definitely give it a full day's test-run before the big day. Good luck to you both, Symbian and DiamondFlame!
