Wall of Fame and Shame: Good and Poor Customer Service - Page 2

I've only used four online vendors so far, but I love Surrender to Chance. My orders are always shipped lightning fast and packaged with love. I got excited this past weekend and just had to know when they'll be carrying samples of two upcoming summer releases (Paper Passion and Amazingreen). A customer service rep sent me a helpful e-mail reply within an hour of my message on a Sunday. So far, I've been most impressed by STC and their former affiliate The Perfumed Court.

Wow...MinNY, I'm so disappointed. Unfortunate because I just purchased from them using their great discount code...but it was hard to find anything I wanted so I doubt I'll be shopping there again...and companies that think it's ok to use Facebook like that really bug me (I'm looking at you Dairy Queen near me...)

Had some good and bad Customer Service:

Fragrancenet - first off the Smartpost shipping as mentioned above...annoying...but worst of all they don't even know what products they have. I ordered Bleecker Street and they sent out some face cream. My money was in limbo for a week or so and that is just unacceptable to me.

Histoires de Parfums - I'll echo what Alfarom said, this company deserves praise. I ordered Ambrarem from a company overseas (First in Fragrance, also pleased with them) and when I touched the bottle a piece of the chrome flaked off. I emailed them and asked if they knew of the defect. I got a response back saying they could either send out a new bottle of Ambrarem or they could send a bottle of any of their other fragrances. Can't be beat.

I recently ordered from Chanel's online boutique and the package I received was damaged. The bottle had been jostled loose from the packaging and was loose in the box. I wrote an email explaining what had happened as I was not too happy. Chanel promptly sent me an apology note accompanied by a very very nice set of gifts. Chanel's online customer service is unparalleled. I applaud their efforts to keep me as a loyal customer. Kudos to Chanel.
