Sean Jean's I Am King is very fruity with both citrus and berries as well. Cranberry, along with tangerine give it a really great unique smell. Only downside is longevity is really short. But the cranberry note is really nice.

Have you tried Carlos Santan for Men?

Paco Rabanne's Black XS...in my opinion it's really good stuff.

What begins as a sweet strawberry candy melts into a darker, softer strawberry-patchouli combination that projects well and lasts a long time.

Just don't over-apply it.

Montale Wild Pears
Montale Mango Manga

The next step after Black XS may be "women's" frags, which do have strong notes of things like strawberry.

Hmmmm...are fruit scents going to be the next direction in men's scents?

Aventus by Creed makes me drool.

If you love Black XS you should probably blind buy Power by 50Cent. Seriously it is loaded with the same berry note as Black XS, and a guava note you'll probly like alot. I feel they're both too sweet and sugary. Zara Sprint 9.58 is another great fruity scent (pineapple), with the same woody basenote as Black XS. One more Pineapple/Apple scent, that I feel is well done (if you don't mind tobacco like Burberry London) is Baldinini Man......basically a more natural Burberry London with more fruit.

Others to test that I like:
Pal Zileri (Apple)
Xeryous Rouge (Strawberry)
Lauder Pleasures for men (Nectarine)
Montale Boise Fruite (tart berries)
Millesime Imperial (melons)
Aventus (pineapple, Apple, Currant)
Cereus #4 (Apples)
Heeley Menthe Fraiche (Raspberry)
Amouage Ciel man (Peach)

Still looking for a sample of Maxims Orphee (Watermelon), if anyone wants to trade.

Really ?
I had always assumed (falsely?) that this was a citrus/floral EDC-style scent. Am I way off base here ? Can anyone fill me in?
What variety of fruit? Is it a subtle fruit to compliment citrus like the papaya/mango in Hermes D'Orange Verte ? Or more prominent ? I'm very interested to know more about this scent.

Another vote for Mango Manga.

Forgot another very sweet fruity scent, on the level of sweetness that Black XS has, but a much clasier presentation of fruit notes....very smooth as well....

Parfumerie Naturelle Ararat

It's got the same Pineapple note used in Zara Sprint and early batches of Aventus, only no sharp citrus or coniferous/woody notes have any prominence to balance it back away from overly fruity......Ararat is a very sweet fruity scent, Pineapple, a little bit of citrus and apple, alot of light gourmand undertones incliding Peach and vanillic notes. Unisex, leaning femme, but an awesomely fruity scent I forgot about.

+1 Xeryus Rouge.
Diesel Fuel For Life smells like raspberry to me.

Imperial Jade Emperor by Agatha Brown is another one to try.

Creed Aventus - Pineapple Heaven!
Creed Vigin Island Water - Coconut and Lime Bliss!
Xeryus Rouge - Sweet and slightly spicy Pimento? Kumquats (just readin its name makes me lol) too.
Paco Rabanne One Million - Blood Orange?
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue - a sour and sweet Apple
Calvin Klein Euphoria for Men (or is it Intense?) - Watermelon note?

Tried Creed MI and got jacksquat with its fruity notes.

If you are including dried fruit soaked in cognac then 1275 by Frapin is a must. It appears very sweet initially but I don't think it persists when worn.

If you want something which smells almost the same as Black XS when it comes to the well-known synthetic strawberry tart note that it gives, I recommend Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense. I think it has more complexity than Black XS, not as linear.

I think among all of the more recent CK offerings (which to me are mostly dull and insipid) this one stands out as the best, and I think it is a quality fragrance for CK.

For others not similar to Black XS. I recommend.

Un Jardin Sur le Nil by Hermes- Green mango note.

Aqua Allegoria Lemon Fresca by Guerlain
Aqua Allegoria Grosellina by Guerlain
Aqua Allegoria Orange Magnifica by Guerlain
Aqua Allegoria Pampelune by Guerlain
Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic by Guerlain

Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria range is actually quite nice. I like it!

Completely agree Galizur, to me MI smells like a salt body scrub.

Might I add Emporio Armani Diamonds for men to the suggestions, screeches strawberry, although synthetic.

Delicious CLoset Queen by Etat Libre D'Orange - berries

but you know fruity (berries, watermelon, etc) is almost ubiquitous in all mainstream scents marketed at women. I'd say you'd have a lot more luck with them. A lot of the ones listed above dont smell fruity to me at all

Diptyque Oyedo is a good one. Citrus and berries that last almost all the way through the fragrance. It is not really sweet though, which keeps it interesting.

I am besotted with this.

A caramellic peach/apricot/leather, which I recently realized smells a lot like properly ripe mango flesh.

One of the happiest scents I know, with brains too.

Kenneth Cole Reaction: musk, grapefruit, patchouli, mandarin, melon rind, green apple, and muguet.
Versace Man Eau Fraiche: Lemon, Rosewood, Carambola, Cedar leaves, Tarragon, Sage, Musk, Amber, Sycamore wood.
Azzaro Chrome Sport: amber, fresh cut grass, citron, grapefruit, aquatic notes, bergamot, pure oxygen, cedar, ginger, white musk, mandarin, bitter orange.
CK Summer: cucumber, cardamom, hedione, watermint, moss, musk, blonde woods, watermelon.
Perry Ellis 18: Spice, Lemon, Citrus

Montale - Pretty Fruity

It's a massive fruit salad blast!!
Due to this thread I have a list of colognes to try... Among mine, I could suggest Herrera Chic: an elegant watermelon note that lasts till the end; Black XS (like a strawberry Hall's); Escada Sentiment (which unfortunately only the top notes - jackfruit - are good and they last 2 minutes, if that much); to me CK Escape presents a very strong pear scent; and Xeryus Rouge, of course.
One that I just recently discovered is J. Del Pozo's On El. Its practically the precursor to Black XS. It has more of a generic, fruit punch aroma than just a strawberry note. If you like fruity fragrances, you should give this one a sniff. Pretty cheap when you find a bottle.
Seem's no one has mentioned Dolce and Gabbana's #3 L'Imperatrice. It's technically unisex, but comes off as very fruity so take it for what it's worth. At the local Sephora, it was lobbed into the Men's fragrances...

All that i tried i found to be artificial. Black XS is vile and smells like flavoured lipstick. Xerius Rouge either. Despite being synthetic, some popular scents are resonable as D&G pour Homme (orange) and Versace Eau Fraiche (starfruit), but again i would never buy none of both.

Montale Pretty Fruity
Black XS is really synthetic strawberry, like a car air freshener but stronger. Try Carlos Santana if you like that. Maybe even Boss Bottled 6

Pulp is hard to wear, and it smells like overripe to rotten fruits
post #50 of 54
There are many to choose from, here's a good blend of designer and niche that I think stand out in terms of what you asked for:

Paris Hilton for Men (the original ,not Hilton Man)
Ck Obsession Night for Men
Guerlain's AA Orange Magnifica
Comptoir Sud Pacific Mandarin
Fragonard Orange Canelle
Serge Lutens Bois et Fruits
Christian Dior's Dolce Vita
L'Artisan Parfumeur Premier Figuier
Laurence Dumont's Figue Sauvage

cheers!
Canali Black Diamond edp is quite fruity. Lots going on, but the pineapple, apple and peach are vocal.
I agree with Byredo Pulp-- my husband wears it. Smells great!
How do you feel about rhubarb? Try Anver 2 from Ulrich Lang.

Please check out Mure et Musc Extreme by L'Artisan. Really good!
