olibanum eo does smell a bit different from the tears; it's dominant strong topnote odor is terpetenic, green, a bit peppery. later on it does smell more like the resin, but this odor is very weak compared to the topnote. don't know about the co2. there are also the absolute, resinoid, and you can make a tincture (you'll need to chill and filter it before it's done).

Frankincense is my favorite note and I own it in many forms. I can highly recommend absolute from liberty and the 2 CO2's from Eden. White Lotus has a Frank/Cedar coextract absolute I have been eyeballing.
