Haha wow. I like wearing them too but if I'm the only one around to smell it I sometimes think it could be a waste?
For sure! I´m wearing scents anytime, anywhere and solely for my delectation!

I am enjoying my scents so I don't think it's a waste.
Yes and no. Some fragrances I wouldn't wear at home while others I wouldn't hesitate to put on just to smell throughout the day. I wouldn't wear La Nuit de l'Homme at home but I have no problem putting on some Bulgari Black. My favorite scents that I try to use a little more sparingly/special occasions stay off at home while my more casual scents are fine to use whenever.

I always wear fragrances at home. No waste by any means. On the contrary, they're probably wasted on unappreciative people I meet in public!

If my girlfriend and others like it then that's a good thing, but I'm the only reason that I wear the fragrances in the first place.

Sensual pleasure. Can you relate? That's what it's all about.

Yeah, I wear 'em all the time, especially in the house. It's by far the best time to wear them. And I love smelling them on my girlfriend.

Gonna have a shower and put a fragrance on now just for this particular bit.

Yes of course. Not these days because of my son's infant asthma situation but otherwise yes all the time.

I especially wear perfumes that tend to be skin scents. Unfortunately skin scent dont work well outside the home because one is constantly moving and any projection is blown away. But at home the skins scents shine.
Yes I do...all the time
But just cool water,Adg,Allure sport Unless I want to kill myself with others
Thats why Everyone come into my room says that it smells so good
post #18 of 110

Rochas Man or Cool Water today for me.
I wear fragrances all the time at home, purely for my own enjoyment.
sometimes.
I often wear multiple fragrances at home. Sometimes up to five - and that's how you can tell that I'm an addict. Anybody seen the Chandler Burr-bit in that BBC-documentary? That's pretty much how I behave when a new package of eBay-minis arrives.

Always

Absolutely yes!

Yes. Why not?
Absolutely.

Yes
Why not? Being retired, much of my time is spent around the house but I tend to use something different when I go out.
Definite yes. Terre d'Hermes is getting the most attention at home these days... Love that scent.

Absolutely! l wear fragrance primarily for myself. l am never scentless, unless l'm ill or hungover!
I wear scent for my own pleasure, not for others. When I'm in the house, I am there to enjoy it-- so it's not a waste.
Yes! I test all my fragrances around the house before wearing them out in public. If I have nothing to test, then I just wear something I feel like wearing. I do agree with teardrop though, fragrances do not do well with hangovers (I actually tried it once and made it such that I could no longer wear that fragrance without feeling ill).
Any fragrance from my wardrobe, especially since it's not a waste to me for one simple reason: I work almost entirely from home, so
whatever I may waste by fragrance use, I gain by the capacity to work harder, better and more efficiently (since fragrance is also a great mental, emotional and creative stimulator to me)
Yes, usually because I'm sampling.
Its not often I dont wear anything , even when just mooching around I will usually wear some smelly or other
post #36 of 110
Of course! You may as well ask me "do you wear clothes when you're at home?" It's part of my daily routine.
Fragrance for me is about being happy and living in the moment. I wear whatever I feel like wearing that day and I don't worry about it being "wasted" on just me.

A waste

Yes. Usually only when sampling new stuff. However, I'll put something on if I'm in the mood for it..MI is the usual choice.

+1, exactly my thoughts
Yes, nearly all the time.
Of course I do.
Definitely, home is a great test environment. If your primary fragrance audience is yourself, wearing at home is certainly not a waste.
Quite frequently, yes. However, I will admit that it is usually one of my cheaper casual scents that get used around the house. I prefer to reserve the more expensive, formal stuff for when I'm going out, since it helps create a psychological link between those scents and when I'm dressed up. I like the feeling I get when I spray those fragrances on and I know I'm headed out somewhere nice!
Sure I do
It's hard to avoid it, since I usually apply before putting on my shirt ... not something I'm comfortable with waiting on until I'm out of the house. The mosquitoes would love it, but I don't think I would.
Sure!
Most definitely. I wear a particular frag to please myself first and foremost.
Yes. They're for my own enjoyment, first and foremost.
Yes, out of my personal enjoyment and more importantly to do skin test of new fragrances. No fragrance is allow to go out of the house without proper skin test
post #52 of 110
I have a regular rotation that I wear out almost exclusively since they're part of the effect I like to create in public. But at home, all bets are off and I try lots of different frags out. I especially like to wear the cheapest bottles in my collection to bed.
Of course I do!
I do. Not only do I wear frags at home - I will even wear niche frags just chillin around the house. This past Saturday AND Sunday I wore Tom Ford TV just relazing watching the British Open. Also every night before I go to sleep, I put a couple shots of L'eau D'issey on.
Always.

Regards,
Steve
I buy fragrances for me so it wouldnt make sence if i didnt wear them at home.
Yes. I wear more fragrance when I'm going to be alone. In public, as a city dweller and a school teacher, I usually need to be pretty discrete about fragrance, because I'm often in close quarters with people who may not deal well with perfume on various levels. Time alone is the best for sinking deep into the pleasures of fragrance. Not least because smelling yourself repeatedly looks odd in public.
I think "normal" people who aren't like us only wear fragrances going out to special occasions. I sometimes wear a frag to bed so I can smell it on me in the morning lol...

^^This

If I want to try samples, it's in house only. If I have something odd and/or powerful that I want to wear in public, I wear it around the house a few times so I know how much I can apply without offending.

But just as often, I'll spray on one of my faves just to enjoy it (although seldom with expensive/limited edition bottles)
I use perfume 24/7.
It´s a pleasure to me!
