Serge Lutens Jeux de peau, Chene, Musc Cllair

Ok. A fast rundown on some Serge Luten Scents.

'Jeux de Peau' is a winner. A fantastic new woman's scent. Sweet, delicate and yummy. Very attractive. 95 out of 100. A real winner.

'Lutens Chene' smells like a church minus the frankincense, literally. Strong, pungent and somewhat overbearing. If your into spicy cedars, oak, smokey or woody scents this is for you. Not for the timid.

'Clair De Musc' is a very deep and somewhat ethereal scent. Imagine Marshmallow bubble gum and your not far of the mark. Neroli petals, white iris powder and creamy dreams.

Of the three IMO Chene is the winner.

Another vote for Chene.

Clair de Musc always reminds me of The Body Shop White Musk. Turns unpleasant on me.

Jeux I actually do like it( my local sa says she cannot seem to get people to buy it), but I am not sure it is FB worth for me.

Chene

Chene easily, sweet rum, smokey oak and cedar.

Chene is my love of these three... Clair de Musc is rather bland for me, Jeux de Peau is intriguing but a touch too sweet ( wearing it now for the first time ).

Yet another vote for Chene.

Jeux de peau? Ugh. I feel like a pile of pancakes already. You have to enjoy gourmands to like it.

Of the 3, Chene's the one.

I have a really hard time turning down buttered toast but I'm going to have to choose Chene.

Definitely Chene by miles.

It's probably safe to declare that, with unanimous vote (!), the winner is Chene!

Drunken oaks for the win! I vote for Chene too...

Moi aussi, Chene is best.

Another vote for ChĂȘne. This one is really captivating.

Just had the chance to smell Chene today, and although it was only on paper I have this sneaking suspicion that it's going to be a favorite. Smelled Five o" Clock at the very same time, and while I liked it too, it was Chene that seemed the most intriguing and appropriate to what, despite the date, is still late fall here in the Northwest.

Granted they are nothing like each other, but Five o Clock seemed like much more of a Springtime scent, and perhaps I'll find I like it more once that season arrives, but for now, Chene made quite an impression.

No two ways about it : There's a hell of a lot of different and interesting things to discover within the Lutens line.
