Kouros bottle has changed ???

Thread Starter
I recently today picked up a current bottle of Kouros (original) and the bottle is no longer the dense white opaque glass.

The finish on the bottle now is a spray painted on white which you can see the paint marking when you shine light onto the bottle itself. I have also noticed that the name Kouros is much darker and bolder.

Because the original glass is not being used the bottle is also now much lighter in weight also.

What a shame that a nice bottle has been cheapened up -

I guess everyone is trying to save a buck where they can.

Yes, I was very disappointed to find this when I got my most recent bottle - I was looking forward to that familiar cool feeling white glass. Oh well, at least the juice is still fab.

Rising costs of production due to inflation I would imagine.

I heard that the scent has changed with the new bottle also

Has anyone got pictures of the older bottle next to the newer one?

What a shame. That white glass is one of the nicest things about the Kouros bottle. It feels almost like some kind of ceramic/porcelain-- though I guess that doesn't help with the toilet/urine/civet comparisons.

if they want to save money, better to cheapen the bottle than the fragrance, right? Although I agree that the bottle is a beautiful object

Now the urine will melt the plastic
