I'm trying to find an Encyclopedia in Italian (book) but finding it impossible.

I'm after a general one similar to the Britannica Concise Encyclopedia.

Can any of our Italian/Italian speaking friends point me in the right direction?

Thank you

How about this one:

La Zanichelli. Grande Enciclopedia di Arti, Scienze, Tecniche, Lettere, Storia, Filosofia, Geografia, Musica, Diritto, Economia, Sport e Spettacolo (http://www.amazon.it/Zanichelli-Enci...3732065&sr=8-1)

Treccani. This is the most complete, and (sort of) official italian Encyclopedia. http://www.treccani.it/

Zanichelli is also a great suggestion, but nowere close to Treccani wich is for Italy exactly what is Britannica for England.
