Have and like both, but prefer Bleu de Chanel.

la nuit de l'homme by the length of the straight
post #4 of 35
La nuit projects and lasts longer
Bleu has great strength and lasting power and smells better than la nuit imo
post #6 of 35
Bleu is strong and projects well but for winter La Nuit will be better choice.

I own a lot of cologne , and this Bleu De Chanel is 1 of the best scent I own. compare to acqua Di Gio, this Bleu De Chanel is more stronger & more spicy than ADG.

La Nuit de l'Homme is, in my opinion, more complex and better lasting

The last time i wore Bleu i nearly vomit jk

la nuit de l'homme any day.

I like both, but would go with la nuit for winter.

La Nuit de l 'Homme

La Nuit de l'Homme. I can't find out anything interesting from Bleu.
They are equal.

La Nuit de Lhomme won both categories, lasting power and better smell

La Nuit!

I prefer Bleu.

La Nuit would be the hands down winner for winter. Bleu would be the hands down winner for summer. I'm not a big fan of either, but I wear Bleu much more than La Nuit any time of the year.

Bleu - Fresh aromatic woodsy/aquatic that just plain smells good. Drydown is fantastic.

La Nuit - Fresh powdery vanilla with a hint of the original L'homme. Pleasant but over rated.

YSL is more original, more prominent, it was launched before Bleu de Chanel..

Bleu de Chanel is very unoriginal and borrows a lot from YSL L'homme

I don't say Bleu is bad. It's good. All Chanel's are good. However I don't need it at all. I have Allure, Allure Homme sport..But not this one...
Bleu is boring... Allure, Allure Edition blanche, even Allure homme sport - all have some character, they are recognizable. Not Bleu de Chanel. No wonder Polge made it without love

p.s. YSL L'homme is better than La Nuit and it's closer to Bleu.
Bleu is light. La Nuit is gourmand.

Own both as well, I would say I enjoy wearing both but I personally like La Nuit better. La Nuit I wear at night/going out and winter.

Bleu I work for work and casual and during the summer.

They are from different worlds, but concerning sillage and lasting power, I would go with Bleu. However, La nuit is pretty awesome in this issues too.

For the fragrances, they don´t stand in the same spot on my wardrobe. La nuit is a night fragrance, a winter fragrance. Bleu is all year around but suits better daytime in my opinion.

La Nuit to me is way more interesting but sticks very close to my skin. Bleu on the other hand was an immediate turn off to me when I tried it. Why ? Aquatic cheap run of the mill "found everywhere" type of a scent. The projection of bleu is great though.

Maybe I don't get modern fragrances but once the aquatics hit my nose I go running. Maybe if the ingredients didn't smell so artificial it would be different but to me they have a cheap smell like a 99cents store.

La Nuit has a nice balance of a light oriental sprinkled with spices and a musky dry down...sweet yet just enough zest so it won't turn you off.

To me La Nuit is the better choice.

La Nuit and you can get it in Parfum strength at Bloomingdales...much better than the original
post #27 of 35
Tried them both.
La nuit de l'homme smells better. La Nuit is more original then Bleu.
On my skin both have great longevity and projection, but I can't tell which is better because I only tested them once.
I prefer La Nuit for the winter.
There's a "Le Parfum" (EDP) version of La Nuit. It must be better in terms of longevity & projection then Bleu because it's an EDP.

I think La nuit is much better crafted. And it is more versatile and is less inoffensive than Bleu de Chanel. Longevity(7 hours+ for both) and projection is pretty good on both. Cant remember exactly which one got better score in those 2 categories.
La nuit de l'homme has has considerably more longevity (on me) than Bleu. La Nuit also projects well, I have only worn Bleu twice and only on a wrist, don't have a clear idea of how it projected. I prefer the scent of La Nuit by a long way, Bleu did nothing for me.

I prefer the EDT of La Nuit de l'homme to the EDP and I'm already on my second bottle since it came out. The EDP is more subtle, it's not a louder stronger version of the EDT to my nose. It is nice .
