In the year 2012...

The year 2012 will mark the 100th anniversary of Guerlain's wonderful masterpiece L'Heure Bleue.

This marvelous scent is always at the front of my shelf. The EDP is my favourite version of this scent.

Any speculation as to what the folks at Guerlain might be planning for this milestone?

For myself, I hope it's a special bottle.

( Chanel No. 22 will be 90 next year too- wonder if anything special is planned .....)

I've been holding off on a bottle...but if they produce a special edition bottle, I'd snap one up. Guess I'll wait longer and see what they do...)

Guerlain is planning a wonderful and tasteful reformulation, to refresh the old carcass so to speak. And there will be MANY anniversary editions: L'Heure Noire, L'Heure Rouges, L'Heure Verte, L'Heure Violet L'Heure Jaunes, they will all have a sporty and fresh edge that has so sadly been absent in the old gal.

Wouldn't it be amazing if they re-released the original version ?

I imagine they'll release some ridiculously expensive 2 litre jug of it that only the super wealthy can afford (and that Monsieur Guerlain will sell a few kidneys for )

I'm hoping they come out with a nice bottle though for the rest of us.

I hope original formula, who cares bottle if the juice is bad?
