Wow, this sounds scary......

Possibly the most ridiculous name I've heard in quite a while.

Just in time for school to start. Sounds preppy.

The bottle was kinda cool looking in my Macy's circular...

Will pass on this.

After a small step forward from their 1985 debacle with the Loud release, this appears to be five steps back.

I agree. I kept looking at it and thinking "Is that really the name of it?".

Eau de Pervs

=)

Why not just ol' plain "Preppy"? But "Eau de Prep"? As per the blend, if it is "preppy", ol' fashioned cologne would do...

Suede? Isn't that what that 1985 thing is supposed to have? How's that working out for them?

Sounds like they are repackaging the same fragrance under a different name and trying to make it sell better. Good luck with that.

Oh gawd.

im actually looking forward to this one. I think Tommy isnt half as bad as we say he is on this site. I mean come on Tommy the fragrance itself was iconic. We sometimes come off very snobby on this site..shocking..since some of use are swearing by Kouros..yes to each their own, but calm it down...tommy has done some good somewhere down the line

Wow. Preppy is cool again! Maybe '80's hair and real fragrances will come back, too!

I sure hope so, and Biff does too!

The name is a horrible choice, sounds like what a basenoter might mockingly refer to a new Tommy fragrance in a review. Maybe they're just trying to beat us to the punch?

Can't wait for Gucci's Eau de Pretentious.

i will eau de pass. lol

I sampled it tonight, because you have to sometimes give these designer scents a try to really appreciate the finer fragrances.

Bottom line: This stuff is bad. Light, musky, it tries to go for the fresh angle with that same strident 'watery' aromachemical everyone is using now (Axe, Old Spice, etc). It, of course, lasts forever. Ick.

Tried this at the PX this evening and I can wholeheartedly say that it's not very good. Smells slightly similar to Tommy, which was the bomb in like 1999, but it's got a lot of something extra that I just don't like. Definitely not a blind buy option.

Probably no worse than 95% of the designer scents. Not everything can have "oud" in its name.

I sampled and did not get excited.....Not good or bad.....just ok!!!

The only good fragrance to come from Tommy Hilfiger IMO was "Freedom" which is sadly discontinued.

LOL

Oud de Prep! Le Parfum!

I have to say I actually really like the bottle/design! Was a big fan of 'Tommy' back in my 90's heyday, but can't see this one finding a way into my collection somehow.

This scent reminds me of the scene in Baron Von Munchausen when Vulcan squeezes a handful of carbon and hands the result to his lady in waiting. She glances at the resulting jewel, sighing, "another diamond," and casually tosses it atop the pile of all the rest.

Pink peppercorn and violet for the gals, grapefruit and clary sage for the guys. That hasn't been done before... Last Thursday.
