Your Top 10 for Fall 2011

Fall season is coming and we all have to be ready! I was wondering what were your choices both from the past and the present that must or should come back or make a debut this season.

For the people living in the southern hemisphere you can post you Top 10 Spring Scents if you wish!

My list (a sort of pre-list, it may change) goes like this:

Tom Ford's BOVdF
Chanel No.22
Borneo 1834
SL's Chêne
Malle's Une Rose
Chanel's Allure Homme
Boucheron's Jaïpur Homme EDP
Guerlain's Samsara EDT
Cuba by Cuba Paris
Amouage's Lyric Man

Honorable mention: SL's Datura Noir and Caron's Nocturnes (vintage) because lemons might be a nice contrast with the rest.

That's an extremely versatile list, castorpollux!

We are at the moment on the verge from summer to fall...

I have a feeling this will play a role this fall:

Tabac Blond (surprise! I went through crazy 100+ mls last fall and winter)
En Avion
Pois de Senteur Chez moi (it's on top of my buy list)
Shalimar (more than usual, because I don't reach that often for it, but I feel a crave developping)
Vol de Nuit
Mouchoir de Monsieur
L'Heure Bleue
Cuir de Russie (Parfum, Chanel)
Diaghilev (or some vintage chyprés I like)

can't think specifically of a tenth at the moment... so, let's leave it like this!

I was wondering what Cuir de Russie was the one you listed?

Creed Aubepine Acacia appeals to me more in the fall than at any other time.
24 Faubourg keeps a body warm within a golden glow.
L'Heure Bleue is just so darn snuggly.
Mitsouko seems so smart amidst crunchy fall leaves.
McEvoy Sexy 9 is as sweet and warm as a delicious hot toddy.

With five like these, who needs ten?

I'm going to wear some favorites and work through some decants to see if I want a bottle.

bois 1920 - real patchouly
parfums mdci - Le Rivage des Syrtes (decant)
SL - Encens and Lavande (decant)
SL - Fille en Aiguilles
Amouage - Lyric woman (3rd decant - just buy a bottle already)
L'artisan - dzongkha
Le Labo - Gaiac
Profumum - Olibanum (decant)
AbdesSalaam Attar Profumo - Mecca Balsam & Hindu Kush (deciding on which bottle to buy)

3: Organza Indecence Givenchy (spicy vanilla)
4: Cadjmere 18 Parfumerie Generale (As soon as I can get myself a bottle! - yummy cypress, coconut, sandalwood)

Fantastic list, Dane . I've never smelled Kenzo Winter Flowers, so I'll substitute it for Cuir Mauresque. As for your Boucheron parfum, I've only smelled the EdT in the round bottle. So, I'll swap it out for Eau des Baux. To make up the full 10, I'll add: En Avion extrait and Mitsouko EDP / Parfum.

Though it's still pretty warm (and I like it that way, so I'm not one to rush the warmth of summer away) it's just starting to cool off so I suppose I should have a few in mind for sweater-weather.

Oh Joe, I want to steal this for a signature!! Those of us in temperate climes can certainly get away with it- LOL!

I find I pull out Chergui,Mahora, and Nuit de Noel more in colder weather. It's hard to wear something named after Christmas in mid-summer no matter where you live, I think.
