fragrances you want just so you can have the bottle

when it comes to buying fragrances, the first thing that catches my eye are the cool and interesting bottles, we all now that over time fragrances can go bad towards were they smell like crap then you end up having to toss them,(I think that's such a waste Dx)I cant bring myself to toss any of them in the trash =C if the bottles are cool looking I'd wanna keep them for decoration, what perfumes have the most interesting looking bottles that you can have sitting in a collection looking pretty?

I think Gwen Stefani's Harajuku series would be cool for collecting, the bottles have these cute chibi/like dolls on them, there really adorable, once the bottles are empty, these dolls would look nice in a figurine collection

Katy Perry's Purr
the bottle is just adorable, especially for cat lovers and those who like cute things, I only want this because the bottle is just adorable

Juice doesnt go bad unless you allow it to do so.
I think decorating with perfume bottles is a little tacky unless it's Baccarat.
But you may like Idole by Lubin.

Can doesn't mean will. Sure if you leave in direct light in higher temperatures.

In the past I used to have one scent at a time and would chose a combine feel of looks and fragrance :
Kenzo elephant
Salvador Dali
Laguna by Dali
Poison
Feminité du bois
Trussardi Skin

Today I do not care so much for the looks in most my scents, with one exception : I had to have the ST Dupont fragrance Blanc and Noir just because the bottles are designed with the pattern of the legendary (for the French) lighter - which I never even owned when I was a smoker - and give an art deco/avant-gardiste look on my dresser by contrast next to the seashells. Bonus : I really like the scents as well !

There's a gorgeous miniature bottle of Lalique Les Ondines (name supplied by the seller) over on Ebay that is simply gorgeous--at least in the picture. The price is only $40.

I really want Amouage since I love its bottle, but the price is too much for me.

I may be able to get it someday when I am older & richer.

I want the bottle of Bleecker Street by Bond No. 9 , then I tried it, fall in love with the scent and bought it.

It was all start by I want this bottle in my collection, but I do not see myself buying more Bond No.9 bottles since there are so many cheaper alternatives of Bond No.9 fragrances.

I have to agree with the harajuku lover's collection and Purr by Katy Perry (which although fruity is actually a sexy scent)
I bought the Hello Kitty rollerball from Sephora. Fragrance wasn't great but I had to have the bottle with a big hello kitty head as the cap!
I'm going to buy a little bottle of White Shoulders because I think that bottle is so cute although I've never smelled it but it's six dollars at walmart so why not?

I'd like all the Bond No9 bottles but not what's inside them. I think it would be a neat collection to have all their empty bottles and display them.

Lutens bell jars! I must admit I blind bought Boxeuses off ebay just because of this. It just so happens the juice is pretty good too

Guerlain Beehive bottle is really exquisite, but it is so pricey.

I'm quite taken with the electric blue, comet-shaped bottle Thierry Mugler put out in his recent release of Angel Eau de Toilette:

(from "The Scented Salamander" website)

Unsure about the fragrance itself however. While undeniably well-balanced and pretty - especially in the top notes - it seems like a more diaphanous version of the old outrageous Angel EDP that I loved. On me, the EDT doesn't have much projection or sillage, lasting a mere 2 hours on skin before fizzling out.

I'll test it again in the near future, just to be sure, but for now I'm content with my little 25ml bottle of the original 90's powerhouse formula. Worn in small doses (especially in cold weather), it's still a winner in my eyes.
