Creed sprayer problem with Aventus

Hi,

So this may seem like a weird Creed topic, but the sprayer on my new Aventus is acting up With all my other Creeds, a good full push down of the sprayer is needed for it to spray out any liquid.

With my Aventus however, even a 1/3rd of a spray will shoot out liquid but as tiny droplets and not a spray. It's kinda irritating since with a full push down this extra liquid tends to get on my fingers or sort of just leaks out and ends up on the bottle, thereby wasting valuable juice.

Comparing with my other Creeds, I see no difference, blockages or w/e. I also bought this from an authorized Creed retailer so I am sure it it not a fake.

Thanks

Perhaps if you recently purchased it, you might be able to exchange it with another. Try calling their customer service department and explain the situation. It's worth a try.

and about a spray really close to the skin? I spray all my fragrances 3cm to my skin, or even closer (specially behind the ears)

Creed sprayers are notorious for "acting up" - for all different fragrances (not just Aventus).

There are previous threads on this.

Oh yes. Super annoying, isn't it?

Yep most likely an air bubble. My GIT did this and would feebly dribble out and drip down the bottle. To fix it I tilted it at a 45 degree angle with the curved side up spraying down on me. After 3 or 4 full quick pumps I was getting the full normal creed well atomized blasts again. You can see the ball bearing in the spray tube on aventus. Tilt it the same way so you can pump it a few times without it sealing the tube up and it should be primed right again. Air compresses and takes the strength out of the pumping action giving weak sprays.

I had a similar problem. I've purchased a 120 ml flacon and the sprayer stoped spraying after about 2-3 ml used. It's not ok for a fragrance for almost 200$...

I've made a diagram which I think better demonstrates my current problem

The first sprayer is what happens when I very lightly put my finger on the sprayer, I hardly even pressing it down for something like this to happen.

The second is what happens when I push it down all the way, like a normal spray puff. This is the case for all my other three Creeds except for Aventus. Even if I push down all the way really fast or slow, I still get that annoying 'squirt' in the first drawing.

Normally this wouldn't phase me. But I see that there is enough juice in the 'squirt' to warrant an entire 'puff'. This means I am using twice as much juice per spray If I move the bottle closer to my skin, I get all that liquid in squirt and puff form dribbling down my skin. If I spray it further away, I get that squirt stream but the puff is wasted in the air.

I bought this from Parfums Raffy a couple of weeks ago and was really happy with the juice (A42B10K03) aside from this issue.

Hi, I tried this every which tilted way and nope, still not fixing the problem. I think my sprayer is just pumping out too much juice.

I have the same issue with my Aventus from the Creed boutique, and have had it with many Creeds in the past. Just part of the Creed charm. Can you see me rolling my eyes? Happened to me yesterday, as a matter of fact.

That sucks, man. After hunting around for a 'decent' batch I get screwed with a bad sprayer. Lol, ah story of my life. Do you guys think this warrants a return to Parfums Raffy? I've used about 10% so far and was actually wondering why it seemed to be going so fast.

For me, it's just a part of dealing with Creed. There's no promise that your replacement will do any better. And yes, this fact about Creeds does suck.
