Looking for recommendations for a clean, cold weather scent

It's a gift for my brother (who likes Mugler Cologne for warmer weather, FWIW). Looking for some suggestions (outside of Rive Gauche and Gucci Envy, which he's tried already). Thanks!

Depending on your brother's sense of humor, the clean lemony saffron of Tom of Finland.

Depending on the budget rather than on the sense of humor, vetivers like Sycomore or Encre Noire work in the winter as well.

Himalaya works really well in the cold.
Others would be..

Grey Vetiver

+1 for Encre Noire or Sycomore. Its hard to think of them as clean, but they do have a clean quality to them.

I also think Bleu de Chanel works well in cooler weather. I believe there's a reason they released it last fall.

Another plug for Grey Vetiver (Tom Ford).

Consider Mulled Cider (Demeter).
