Good Morning All,

Vintage Chanel Cuir de Russie Edt

A bitty day for me: Writing funding applications, tackling a mountain of ironing, food shopping and perhaps some baking.

Take care everyone, and thanks for the tune Jon.

Quarry - almighty alliteration!!

House twins with Jon in Kenzo, Amour Le Parfum for me. Love this darker, more interesting take on the original for its added benzoin and woody notes. Thanks for the music, Jon.

Notes include cherry blossom, rice, white tea, frangipani, heliotrope, thanaka wood, vanilla, musk, patchouli, benzoin, amber, incense

Enjoy the day, all!

Ah, a picnic and sunbathing in the park - what a lovely mental image that is Larimar. I might do the same when I get home from my massage, wearing my pre-massage-staple:

SotE - Creed Acier Aluminium.

Rose Ikebana today.

The weather is decidedly cooler. It's actually quite pleasant!
Temps have plunged below 90. I miss the heat already, summer gal that I am. I headed straight for some fragrances that I haven't touched in ages, and (coincidence? ) that I associate with spring and early summer: Gucci Envy (left arm), and CK Truth (right arm). I had nearly forgotten the loveliness of both.

[Ducks to dodge the barrage of tomatoes. I know that Envy is a particularly hard sell!]

Good Evening,

l'heure bleue EdP tonight. Take care everyone.

I'm enjoying the cooler weather this weekend. I'm wearing Bandit today. My wardrobe says I haven't worn Bandit since March ... my how I've missed you!

Decided to give Cuir de Lancome a try after a long while... I still don't like it and this is ready to go one day. Bah, what a waste tonight... I hate being stuck with something I dislike. That is why I don't experiment for SotDs usually.
Evening all. Sotd was No 19 Poudre and sote is Angel edt.
Quarry, your charming post made me smile.

Nostalgie, I like Gucci Envy, too.

I'm scentless at the moment, but plan to wear Ava Luxe China Pearl post-bath. Take care, all.

Hello everyone -

I'm with you Nostalgie - I love the hot and lazy, hazy days of summer best, too. I'm happy to report that it's still getting into the upper-80s here, and hopefully that'll last for several more weeks, but there's no denying the days are getting shorter....sigh.

I'm taking a break from the extremely enthusiastic football (Geaux Saints!) fans downstairs to get a whiff of you fragrant and beautiful people, and enjoy a moment of my own Coromandel-scented quietude.

Y'all have a wonderful evening!

Quarry, you should have gone with an "S"-thing, swapping places with you and DH. To get DSH, if you like any of her fragrances. (Example: "Self? Stuck in swarming scrutiny saving the silly script/subscription, surrounded by the splendid solace and solemn sorcery of Sabi", just a thought).

Violettes de Toulouse in the morning. Jolie Madame for the PM.

Had the first shift today, so had to get up at 5.15 ! NOT my favourite time of the day to get up... For work I wore Feminite du bois. It felt comforting with all the rain and fog we had today. SotE is Shalimar.

Now I am afraid ! I ordered it blind and should receive it this week ..
It seems I need to know and have scents for reference as much as for wearing, but maybe I should start saving for really good 'juice' ...

At least Love, Chloé was beautiful today in the fresh and crisp air.

Test drove Chanel No 22 today and found it surprisingly likeable (when I was able to detect it). Normally iris notes are not really my cup of tea ... or my splash of fumes.
Now, the mighty gourmand notes of Angel accompany me towards sweet dreams (of cotton candy, I guess!).

Aramis Tuscany tonight. Bergamot> Geranium> Patchouli. A gem.

Today, To Dream from Sonoma Scent Studio. Got this sample when i bought the purse-spray of Tabac Aurea, and wow I love this one too. I think the To Dream is another one I managed to sell by wearing, a co-worker says let her know when I make the next order she wants it.

Oh, my dear Laureline, do not fear the Cuir de Lancome. It is lovely stuff, and a very easy leather. Our most dear Larimar, in all of his wisdom, does at times get it all wrong. :0

My guess is that you will like your Cuir.

But what do I know, because I am in Bois 1920 Sushi Imperiale this evening. Much hated, but I find it a sparkling, spicy little gem. It fits this transitional weather just fine.

Teint de Neige and Shalimar Ode a la Vanille. Liking the Teint so far.

:P I know this is so popular on both the women's and the men's side here... so, Laureline is very likely to love it.
