L'homme opening?

Hi forum!
I recently got into the fragrance business and the first one i got is YSL L'homme
I also bought a*men but it's a little too sweet for me..
Anyways I'm just wondering if there's anything(the dry down) that smells like the opening of L'homme?
I don't like the dry down of L'homme because it's weak and somewhat sweet but I really really enjoy the opening.
Thanks!

p.s. maybe chanel allure original/edition blanche?

Hi thanks for the reply
What are the notes in this piece?
I can't seem to find anything online
Thanks!

p.s. Also there's the PDT version and the EDT version. Which one do you recommend? Thanks

L'Homme is pretty much an explosion of "woody amber" chemicals (don't let the name fool you, it's a metallic kind of smell that sort of resembles rubbing alcohol or ammonia). It's a really popular smell. Maybe Bleu de Chanel or even Chrome or Aqua could give you a big shot of "woody amber".

I have bleu de chanel but to my nose it smells nothing like it =\\
I've recently purchased La Nuit De L'homme and the dry down is actually what I'm looking for. Not a huge fan of the opening though.
Thanks for the response!
