AMOUAGE

Jubilation XXV man

Thanks easyfish for the large decant
Today's decant is Chanel's beautiful Coromandel, an elegant, refined yet cozy study in patchouli. Wears sheer and powdery on me. To my fellow decant decimators Cello and Leesee - stay strong, my sisters! We can do this!! xo

Notes include frankincense, benzoin, amber and woody notes.

Best to all!

Hi all. Back after a few weeks of doddling around, Basenote-free after 10 days of vacation.

I started the day in Iris Poudre, and am currently in the Mitsouko EdC from 1967 I just purchased today. I'm sloooowly dipping my toes in the Guerlain pool...

easyfish, you smell AMAZING!

As inspiration for Lessee and tdem - I am FINISHING a sample of DelRae Mythique today. Yes, it can be done!

I was a little luke warm on this (iris) fragrance when I sampled it a couple months ago. Let's see how it goes this time around.

Dior Eau Sauvage
Kai perfume oil today...
also tried the sniffed the followings on paper strip: Chanel No. 19 Poudré (was ok, but I still prefer the original), Madly Kenzo (it doesn't project and just smells like a piece of peppery paper) , Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna (not-my-juice), Estee Lauder Private Collection Jasmine White Moss (very dry and reminds me of Diorissimo), Beyoncé Heat (too sweet that I almost get a toothache), Serge Lutens Cuir Mauresque is probably the only one I enjoyed the most...

Good morning everyone -

I'm happy to be scent-twins with the lovely FrouFrou today, in vintage 70s Miss Balmain. This is another one that's great in the heat, so it should be perfect for today. And the old Balmains just seem to last and last; I'm taking a friend to Muriel's for lunch for her birthday today, and I doubt I'll need to re-spritz (...though I just may, anyway!)

Welcome back Pamplelune! It's nice to see you again!

Mitsouko for miscellaneous mania. No alliteration intended. Just dealing with ads, articles, appointments, cleaning, correspondence, computer stuff. Will catch up with reading threads another day. Air smooches all around. Ta!

Wearing Lolita Lempicka Fleur de Corail today. I have that feeling that I'm waiting for... something... Not sure if there REALLY is something I've half forgotten, it's just a vague feeling, the change of seasons, too much allergy medicine or what.

It's one of those days when I'm the family taxi...took my mom for a dental cleaning this morning and will be taking my daughter to her pediatrician for her yearly checkup this afternoon...

I'm wearing Jour de Fête. I don't tend to wear this during the warmer months so it's nice to be enjoying it again.

Thinking of Kiliwia .

In Folavril this morning .
Okay, so for my first day with the decants and samples self-challenge, I am in Teo Cabanel Oha.

(Thanks for the initial and continuing inspiration tdem, and good on you, cello, for already finishing a decant!)

Kiliwia, you are in my thoughts.

Take care and have a wonderful Tuesday, all.

Well, I did decide to re-spritz, but I absentmindedly grabbed the wrong bottle and before you know it I had quite liberally sprayed La Perla all over the dry-down of Miss Balmain (oh no!) ...but the result is gorgeous, thank goodness as there's no time to shower. There really wasn't much left of MB honestly, but I can tell it's there, being all prissy and pink-bowed underneath the sultry, sophisticated La Perla.

With Quarry today in Mitsouko. It is a calming fragrance for me and I need it, as one of my doggies is having trouble walking and we had to take him to the vet. Will wait for tests to come back on what to do. Vet says it may possibly be a tick-borne disease. Or arthritis.

I'll claim my seat between FrouFrou and Evangeline this evening (nostrils at the ready) and hope they don't have too much objection to my choice.

Good Evening,

MFK: Cologne pour le Soir tonight.

Best to all.
Good evening everyone.

I am a renegade today! No point in competing with paint and white spirits as am busy with another of my pursuits (decorating, not art!). And this evening, a bath in Aromatherapy Associates "Relax" bath oil and then Santa Maria Novella "Relax" Body Fluid, so no point in competing with those either!! Oh, and the lovely whiff of a glass of nice red......zzzzzzzzzzz

Thoughts to all, especially those who need them. See you tomorrow.

Hi Fleurine! I am curious about this, because I spotted some at the local treasure trove and misread the box as "Guerlinades" (by Carven, haha). How is this?? How does it dry down?
