B.O. is an interesting idea. It was invented in the 1950s by cosmetics marketers to get men to use deodorants, which were previously thought of as very feminine. Presumably through most of history natural male odors were considered attractive or at least normal.

One needs to take into consideration current reformulations.

I choose Platinum Egoiste. It has "beefcake" written all over it. I can't think of anything else that I have smelled in Dept stores that comes close to this.

Aramis is cool but I see it more as a barbershop fragrance..something you put on after you shave versus to project an image to the world. Drakar in it's current formulation is a cheap drugstore fragrance. So are many other hairy chested fragrances from the 80's.

What has more cajones than PE and is readily available in the current marketplace ?

Fumidus by Profumum - One is initally treated to a dram of aromatic scotch whisky, with its tempered harshness harnessed by the indolic sweetness of peat. A nascent, barnyardy aroma of cigar tabacco peeks through as well as a hint of abrading iodine. Medicinal birch bark elbows itself into the mix with its medicinal, wintergreen character and its hint of effervescent birch beer. The sweet, minty intrusion nicely counterbalances the sharpness of the scotch accord. Magical vetiver joins the fray with its rich earthiness and deep muskiness. A strong smokiness envelops the comforting blend. The robust vetiver likewise imparts its syrup, hay and tabacco offerings. A faint armpit body odor and dank woodiness also present. A titillating drydown ensues. This manly composition has excellent projection and longevity - easy on the trigger is the catchphrase here.

IMHO Blenheim Bouquet blows Yatagan away and Vintage Tabarome does the same to BdP

But then you'd have to believe an Alpha Male could bring himself to say ' Humble Opinion. ' Wouldn't you?

Aramis, Gucci pour Homme 1. Coincidentally the owner of my company has worn these. He has also owned Farenheit. My initial thought was Platinum Egoiste. and then I realised he also owned that too.
