I own a bottle, It opens gourmand...cotton candy. Then it dries down to a nice astringent spice. I don't get the wild differences people are smelling...Perhaps confusing it with YSL L'Homme L'Nuit. I think Flankers sometimes get a bad rap on BN...

I enjoy this scent very much. The opening has a pearish scent with a nice lavender dry down. Very calming.

The more I smelled this, the less I liked it. I found it abrasive. Thankful I never bought it.
