Weak at the Knees

Thread Starter
We have all been there guys, you night is going ok, you are mixing with everyone and suddenly, you stop in your tracks and a feeling or calm and sheer panic comes over you. He/she is getting closer, closer and you get a whiff if his/her scent. You just feel a little light headed. What fragrance and on whom - has this affect on you.

For me it was my 1st gf, the night i met her and it was Coco Mademoiselle.

I hope I am not alone in this feeling - maybe im too much of a romantic :-)

Anais Anais on one of my first girlfriends. Not from the night we first met, but from the night when it became apparent that there might be some mutual feelings.

Fragrance doesn't seem to have the ability to make me weak in the knees.

Estee Lauder Beautiful reminds of high school girlfriends. Won't go as far as to say it makes me weak in the knees, but it does bring back those memories.

In that case, so does Bartles & James... once again... thank you for your support.

Laugh if you want but for me its Tresor on my wife! I'm rather proud of it actually.

That right there is some baby making fragrance! While staying as respectful to my wife as possible, I'll just say that she knows when to apply this fragrance and when not to.

Hypnose has always been a favorite of mine... I don't know why? Oh yeah, that's what the stripper was wearing!

I'm with this guy.
Unfortunately, I have never felt something so strong towards someone.

I like to smell Daisy on my wife, but I don't feel week in my knees after that

Escada Collection on my wife--probably more for the memories than for the quality of the scent (although I do like it).

Opium is one that used to have that effect on me. My first serious girlfriend wore it, and I always associated it with pleasant memories of her. Twenty years after we broke up and drifted apart, we started seeing each other again, and smelling Opium on her again was like magic. Now, after we've ended the relationship for the second time, it doesn't have that effect anymore. I still enjoy the fragrance very much, but more on its own terms.

Absolutely nothing wrong with declaring yourself to be a Romantic.

Alien, Flowerbomb, VIW and Light Blue - All worn by my ex-gf. I don't really associate VIW with her though, and can wear that myself.

On a strange note, I smelled La Nuit on a dude a little while ago, and the smell was intoxicating I knew I had to get it.

It's not a perfume, it's some random bath product that she uses that I don't even know the name of and don't know if I want to. My mind goes totally blank

She made me weak in the knees.

Bulgari au The Rouge was the scent she was wearing.
