What a fantastic resource! I am so excited to have found this site
I was hoping for suggestions of fragrances based on similarity to those I know do work for me. I get migraines and that narrows my scent choices but I am able to wear Lauren by Ralph Lauren (the original vintage scent is my all time favorite), Chanel No.5 and Sexual and I love L'air Du Temps but it smells like my mom so i don't feel right wearing it[/URL].
I'm 39 so I have tried many, many scents of the 80's and 90's. After that I just gave up and stuck mostly to Lauren but I really prefer the original and it is outrageously expensive if you manage to find it.
Just a few I have tried that cause a strong negative reaction:
Burburry Brit
Lola -Mark jacobs
Cool Water-Davidoff
Anais Anais -Cacharel
Eternity -Calvin Klein
Most Estee Lauder
Warm scents (rose, jasmine, sandalwood) seem to work best for me and sharp and fruity do not. When I go shopping to try new fragrances I am very quickly overwhelmed and most often leave with a headache. I would love to have a list of fragrances to bring with me next time.
Any one up for the challenge?
