Cuirs - Carner Barcelona is more beautiful every day and constantly changes. I love this fragrance and I think people are missing out on it by not giving it a full chance.

The Armani Code line (all of them) , like almost everyone here doesn't like it but I'm in love with it.

And I had a Diesel Only The Brave sample, it was delicious, but not that much appreciation here either.

I think Curve is the most misunderstood men's scent of all time. I often see people refer to it as a teen scent, and that baffles me. Curve isn't sweet at all. It's mossy. It has a strange appeal in that it doesn't smell overtly sexy at all, and yet, I've gotten an astounding number of compliments from women ranging from their 20s to late 40s. So many scents make it known that the wearer is trying to be seductive. Curve is like a secret weapon in that regard. It's a great date scent that doesn't smell like a date scent, and versatility-wise, it's off the charts.

I've never smelled anything like it.

I agree with the mentions of Bond No. 9 Eau de New York.

I would also add the entire Armani Prive line - doesn't get much mention, but I think almost every last one of them is a gem.

Another that may or may not be disliked, but Montale's Sliver Aoud really seems to fly under the radar.

cool water. not just an excellent clone of GIT, but a great fragrance in its own right

Molecule 01,as a fragrance,is the victim of much misguided hate... it gets dogged on too much, too often for being an overpriced "one-ingredient-wonder" - (which I can completely understand the WHY people take issue with it) However, setting the pricing "ethic" issues/complaints aside, the fragrance is truly special! So special, that I have been willing to pay the $140+ per bottle price tag time and time again. (I cannot say as much for the Escentric side of the scent line however.)

I'll second the "Some of the Hugos" comment. I know many of the Hugo Boss frags are sold at discount prices, but they are some of my favorite designer frags.

Boss No.1, R.L. Safari or Polo Green and C.K. Obsession fit that bill for me. Don't think I could think of another from those houses though.

The Swiss Army by Victorinox and the Mont Blanc lines.

Although they both make what are considered 'safe', likeable, scents that are usually pushed in department stores, their stuff never smells cheap or cloying, always seem well made and put together, and smell pleasant at the very least.

Boss in Motion, one of the few designer fragrances that I'd buy again if/when I run out.
