May as well slap a giant number on the front and a pony:

How'd you like this surfer guy on your shelf:

Not to mention, extremely expensive.

For cologne spray!

A&F is like an unfunny joke that doesn't go away.

Being unimaginative seems to be fragrance industry's greatest downside nowadays

I laughed at the bottle...

Yeah, seriously! I mean $50 for a 1.7 fl oz eau de cologne? smh

More fools and their money will soon be parted by this peddler of lowgrade Asian-made textiles and redundant drugstore fragrances.

Awful bottle, no doubt.

But Bond still lead the way...
terrible pricing for the cologne. own and love a lot of their clothes though. shame.
Hmmm, Niche Line from Abercrombie... WTF
I actually think the Hollister bottle is creative, I can imagine if I were still in high school I might find that one a kinda cool thing to put on my dresser. Keep in mind Hollister is not trying to appeal to aficionados, this is the equivalent of the shiny object that enthralls the three year-old. The A&F line is just a shameless money grab, they've been yet to followup Fierce with anything worth purchasing, they should be focusing on fewer releases rather than on more

I guess this means the Big Pony line of fragrances sold really well? Weird, because I don't think I see them at Macy's anymore.

I don't.find the bottles dumb at all at least they have ivy league strips and not a naked torso

I agree.

I mean, they're still waaaay overpriced (that's in the Hermes/Chanel/Dior range!) and probably insipid, but the bottle is the least of their issues.

Not interested in the scents or the surfer dude!!!

The dumb bottle was the Hollister bottle. And Daniel, this is not a niche line from them, it's priced the same as all of their other ones.

yeah, they have nice simple clothing, the kind that I like but being over 40 I gotta watch what I buy from them.

The moose logo is cool but the big A&F designs are best for the younger crowd.

I hate this style of fashion.

THE 1892 COLLECTION IS INSPIRED BY THE RUGGED, COLLEGIATE ATMOSPHERE THAT CHARGES THROUGH COMPETITIVE IVY LEAGUE SPORTS.

"Collegiate" was the only other adjective they could come up with to describe Ivy League sports?

Seriously though, that's some of the worst ad copy I've seen that wasn't obviously poorly translated from another language.

Might be slightly more understandable if they had ripped off a half decent line but to copy one that is already naff is plain risible. The Big Pony stuff is already in the bargain basement bins here.

I'm still puzzled by Abercrombie and Fitch's self declared war on pubic hair, it's so 90s gay-porn.
This market is always ripping off each other's ideas. In the women's market, Victoria's Secret was slapped with a lawsuit from Juicy Couture.

And on and on.

Kevin, LOL! We can always have Tom of Finland by ELdO for that! (A great leather scent, BTW.)

gosh looks awful. I don't like abercrombie and fitch clothes so am not inclined to bother with their scents. not surprised they are hitching their wagon to ralph lauren big pony, its the same consumer

I drove by the mall today. I was going to go in and test these. I saw the huge jam of cars and people and drove right on pass. Gotta love pay week in the US.

I'd love to hear some reviews on these!

It's fascinating that shaved, 20-something guys find it so 'cool' to be passively consumed by the gazing eyes of others. But, what do I know?
Fierce is there only scent that I find appealing, everything else is pretty much waste of money for me.
I noticed A&F has a 25% off sale in store that ends today, which apparently includes fragrances (how rare). That makes these $37.50 a bottle. Still expensive, but not as bad?

I'm going to see if I can gather up enough gumpshun to go in and try them.
Just got back from testing them. Let's just say I easily left empty handed.

The only one I mildly liked was the Blue one...but it reminded me of Polo Sport. The other ones (the Yellow being the second most tolerable) smelled quite generic, having that typical "pencil lead" base that so many colognes use over the past few years.

I also tried the new Hollister "Break Line" (the one with the surfer on top) and boy, did they rip off their own Fierce!
I am sure it will sell to their target audience.

My thoughts exactly - I imagine they will be here soon, too.

Always been that way at A&F, but it's now more blatant than ever. The company has shifted to solely targeting on the men's side gay men and Asian tourists, who have become their largest consumer. I wish they'd start putting both men and women in their ads again, but then again I gave up on them a while ago.

I never entered any of their stores, and I am 23. I know some of my friends are addicted to them, yet those are usually my least stylish friends. But yeah...too many topless men. Women would help, but not much...

You're not in the States, right? A&F is keeping their bottom line up primarily on international sales. They're far more popular abroad now than in the US.
I hope Abercrombie employees are directed to spray these new colognes on their merchandise; colognes typically have poor longevity and - hopefully - I won't choke as I pass by their boutiques.

From one bad fragrance line to another ... of all things to copy --> Big Pony?!?! With all these multiple lines coming from these designer houses (D&G's Tarot-inspired line, RL's Big Pony, Lacoste's L.12.12), the industry's becoming more insipid than ever. Betting my money that another brand like Hugo Boss will think this is a splendid idea and come out with their own in the next couple of years.
